Superman/Thor Vs. Avengers/JLA

Reason For Battle: Duo/Teams believes each side is being mind controlled Morals: On Location: Metropolis Distance: 100 feet from each other Bloodlust: Off Rest: After each win Superman and Thor get a hour of rest. Win Condition: TKO or Surrender

Jade, Iron Man, Ares, Ms. Marvel, Maxima

Group 2

Guy Gardner, Aquaman, Hercules, Power Girl, She-Hulk

Group 3

John Stewart, Invisible Woman, Jesse Quick, Big Barda, Wonder Man

Group 4

Kyle Ryner, Orion, Martian Manhunter, Pulsar (Monica), Sersi

Group 5

Hal Jordan, Hulk, Wonder Woman, Flash, Sentry

Who wins?

Group 5 is the only group that can beat 'em, but Group 4 would be tough too.

@Superguy1591: Group 5 absolutely wins but group 4 beats them also. Pulsar can take out supes(turn into energy. determine his energy source/weakness) and Thor is not beating Kyle,Sersi,MM and Orion. Actually i think group 4 could beat group 5.

@pooty: I don't think either Superman or Thor would need rest until they got to group 4. So when it comes down to group 4, I'd look for a team up between the two.

@Superguy1591: Even with a team up i don't see how they could beat them. MM by himself can beat SUperman with telepathy. Maxwell Lord and Poison Ivy have taken control of Superman so i'm sure MM can do it. Then Thor is by himself and going down.

MM can beat both of them by himself.

@pooty: Superman has Martian Manhunter's weakness behind his eyes. He just has to heat vision his surroundings and there goes Martian. Orion can hold his own against Supes, but Thor would make quick work of the rest. Then Thor just has to jump in Supes and Orion and that's the end of that.

Stops at 5 or 4 with weakness exploitation.

They clearly stop at 4 and never know that level 5 existed.

@Superguy1591: Martian Manhunter hasn't had problems with fire in years. He got over that when he became the "Fenrus". Plus you can't burn MM if he's intangible. And that's why team 4 is so deadly. They have the strongest telepath on DC earth. They also have MM and Pulsar who can go intangible and not be touched. Pulsar can see what powers superman and duplicate red sunlight. Sersi is highest level molecular manipulator of all the Eternals. You're right round 5 would beat them. But round 4 would beat them first.

Group 4 takes em out. Valid arguments can be made for the martian soloing...

Maxima is indeed the only threat. What if she mind controls Superman or Thor? She has done this to Wonder Woman before. Or takes the battle to the astral plane?

If team 1 had a better brick than Ares Iron Man or Ms Marvel then I would give it to the team. They just need someone to that could tie up at least one of the two effectively

I was surprised too.

with only 1 hour of rest after each battle i say the either loose or tie at round 4. if they win, supes and thor loose at round 5
