Superman/Wonder Woman vs Black Adam/Captain Marvel (Read)

Location: Abandoned Metropolis.

No prep for the first two rounds.

No outside help.

Random encounter.

Standard gear for each. (Technically just Diana applies to this but yeah.)

No vulnerability/weakness to magic for Supes. (Sorry but I want to make this fair as half of the CM vs Supes are always usually about magic. Plus before you say that team 2 can't hurt him now, as far as I can tell it's only the lightning that BA and CM use that's magic, the punches I assume are just force but are powered because of magic, I mean Diana got her power from the same gods Marvel did.)

Round 1:

New 52 versions.

Bloodlusted. Morals on.

Win by KO, Incap or death.

No bfr.

Round 2:

Pre New 52 versions.

Morals off. Blood lusted.

Bfr is allowed.

Death battle.

Bonus Round

Pre New 52 versions

No gear, but 1 hour of prep.

Morals off and blood lusted.

Win by any means.

Round 1 goes to Supes/WW

Round 2 goes to Capt.Marvel and Black adam

Round 1: Team 1 since te New 52 have better feats then CM and BA.

Round 2 and 3: Team 2. Since CM and BA have the feats to go toe to toe with Team 1. BA is most likely the MVP though.

team 2, i believe they are overall superior in every aspect except maybe speed by a little

@18hunt: Fighting skills are something BA and CM are somewhat lacking.

WW is more skilled than team 2, and Supes pre new 52 has had training as well.

I also believe Diana has slightly better reflexes out of the 3 as well.

Round 1. I haven't kept up with N52 CM or BA would either be able to handle Superdoom?

Round 2 & 3: I think Superman and Wonder Woman would use the same tactic each time, which would be for WW to go after Billy and transform him back into a kid via the lasso and then double team BA, plus I can see them doing far better with prep than either of team two. Pre 52 WW did have the Medusa head.

Round 1: Wonder Woman and Supes.

Round 2: Black Adam and Cap.

Bonus round: Superman and Wonder Woman. Superman does have tech from the fortress to use.

I am sure this has been done...

Round 1 goes to Superman/WW, as of now, however New-52 Billy has the potential to be better even than New-52 Superman IMO.

Round 2, IMO Billy and Captain Marvel, just about win; in a very good fight.

And round 3 goes to Superman/WW.

Agreed. BA has no N52 feats to be of any use in Round 1.

Feats in general in past; Superman is not above them, and is on par with them; so it can go either way.

when Teth really pissed Clark off in Action Comics #831 ,he turned his head back like a coward because he knew that punch at that speed would put him down(Adam was fast enough to turn his head back though) and if are we talking about their overall( best feats) ;

They won't be able to see Clark..Besides Jay has already blitzed Adam,it didn't put him down though because the old speedster is not strong enough but Pre52 Clark and Jay has matched and Clark is slightly faster than him ,I think you know what happens to Adam if Clark punch him in a picoseconds(lightspeed)

He turned his head, because he knew Clark wouldn't hit him; not because he was a coward.

Teth has already had a foot race with Jay, and did well; its very close.

2. Teth has stumbled at Mach 500.Clark could move and talk in picoseconds

Round 1 goes to Clark and Di. Better feats. Superman should beat either one without too much trouble and Diana can occupy one at the very least.

Round 2 goes to Clark and Di. She should be able to change CM back to Billy with the lighting from her bracelets. Even without that she still has skill and speed over him.

Round 3 is the best round. No idea how prep is going to help either of them.

Clark is nanoseconds, not picoseconds.

you really overate Dc characters speed.

Black Adam knew that Superman wasn't going to do anything.

If she's allowed to pick up weapons that aren't standard gear then she picks up her Gauntlets and Sandals increasing her speed, strength and durability.

@dorukesin: You use that one scan to justify Superman and Hal from decades ago; show another Picoseconds feat used in a combat situation.

There is no point using time frames, when both these characters have gone against each other multiple times, and Teth hasn't had no problem with his speed.

Clark wouldn't have blown his head off, the only thing said was that, Teth new he wouldn't do anything, not that it would kill him.

Clark has never succesfully used his speed on Adam.

Clark said that punch would split a moon in half.You took quite a risk.

@dorukesin: That scan again holds not much value hear, as does that also imply WW and Teth are of that level, becuase they have dealt with his speed.

That is also not in combat, and is one showing; not to mention they haven't had a problem with this supposedly Picoseconds feats, even though it doesn't state Picoseconds.

How does that scan prove he could destroy Black Adam easily, all it shows is that Teth out smarted him, and new Clark's ways; if anything it shows Teth can then his back before Superman can reach him from no mere metres away.

WW is supposedly faster than him reaction wise, according Batman; and yes she has reacted to him and dealt with his speed.

That's better, he wouldn't have blown his head off, but knock him down or really hurt him.

Teth technically outwitted him, due to him knowing Clark, therefore he turned his back; can't you see the scan, he didn't turn his head, but turned his body, so it is a bit different.

when did Teth deal with him ? and you said Teth dealt with his speed. On their only fight,he turned his head back

You do realise that is not the only time they have fought, lol.

WW has no real time frame feats, however she has dealt with Superman, Zoom; and even Superman acknowledges she is faster reaction wise, as does Batman, here.

I have heard of a simile, and because you like to say stomp all the time; how I am supposed to get what you mean. That wasn't a simile either.

@kingant27: She isn't faster than him in combat. Even the writer has said, when asked about this, that statements should not be taken as complete proof, and that Batman also does not know much about Supermans fighting speed.
