He has a few skill feats that are actually very impressive.
There are a few examples here.

Superman. Better MA feats, better training. You get rid of Thor's powers, you have a better possibility of nerve strikes affecting him.

Training means nothing.Iv said it a hundred time (At least) No matter who trained you if you dont have some feats to back that up then all the training is void.In this case it comes down to training of expirience.Frankly ill take expirience

#12 Posted by crackerjack82 (2564 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

@Sherlock: I agree with you to a certain degree, training without true combat is nada, but look at the two,i want to say thor, but superman has had Bruce as a teacher

Thor via thousands of years of fighting experience.

#14 Posted by Sherlock (6856 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio
@crackerjack82: Dam that was quick lol

Superman has been trained by Bruce yet all the training he has had has never shown in his fighting. If he isnt going to start fighting better then i dont see the training being worth all that much.

@Sherlock: im like a ghost, no i really really really want to say thor, on paper No power, Superman would look top be the winner, but we both know what happens in fights

#18 Posted by Sherlock (6856 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio
@crackerjack82: Yes i do know.In this case neither of them use any real fighting skill so im going to say the one with the expirience. In my professional combat opinion. The person with training but less expirience usually loses the fight
#19 Posted by crackerjack82 (2564 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

@Sherlock: very true my friend, plus is thing is they were both just human, given there body builds thor would stronger denser muscle mass, giving him greater durability here, save getting kneecapped

#20 Posted by Sherlock (6856 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio
@crackerjack82: Humans have the same Durability all round no matter how big or strong they are.In Boxing for instance the lightweights never knock each otehr out because the arent strong enough to do so dispite being the same size(about the same anyway).Heavy weights do in fact knock each other out because they have the strength to do so even though they are bigger.
Bottom line Clark and Thor both have the capability to KO the other it is going to come down to skill or a lucky punch that all there is to it

@Sherlock: Sherlock you forget that i am a boxer, and trained in kempo my friend, GRANTED overall we should have the same rough durability, some of use can take more, and there factors, one training, my Kempo master used to make us sit in Iron Horse, which isnt even in kempo, and hit us, to create dense tissues, and deaden nerves

secondly the more muscle in your legs arms and chest the longer it takes pain to transfer, given the body builds of thor and superman, then take into account there life spans, everything leads to Thor being able to take more punishment

#23 Posted by Sherlock (6856 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio
@crackerjack82: I didnt forget that actually.Though you may have forgotten my lack of formal training.lol
Pain isnt so much what i was referring to.If one gets hit just right they are going to go down no matter how much pain tolerence they have.Iv been KOed before and i didnt even feel it
#24 Edited by crackerjack82 (2564 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

@Sherlock: Ahh i get what you are saying, sorry about the misunderstanding, yeah getting KOed is like that,

#25 Posted by Sherlock (6856 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio
@crackerjack82: No worries. When conveying over the internet.you are always going to have some points of misunderstanding

Thor

#30 Posted by Malonius (844 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

Thor. Why would people think he wasn't trained? He was a prince of Asgard. Combat would have been a huge part of his education.

Supes

Thor due to having eternity to study many forms of combat

#33 Posted by MrDirector786 (41708 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

Superman, because he's actually shown to have better fighting skill. Thor having many centuries of fighting skill means nothing if he's never shown much of it.

#34 Posted by Evil Incarnate (2656 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

Hmm Thor does have centuries of fighting, but with his long hair it's bound to get in his way...hmm....I'm gonna need more time to think this through.

@MrDirector786:Thor would have higher durability and I think that would be enough to give him the win

The OP says that they've been stripped of their powers. So that means they have no super-strength, speed, durability, or any other powers. They're just using their fighting skills to win.

How good is Thor's durability when he's been depowered? And durability isn't everything.

This has been done too.

@MrDirector786: come on man. lets be real for a momment. I dont have proof of thors skill without power, hopefully someone else does. Honestly though, you think Supermanis comming out on top? I'm going with Thor.

Yes. I think Superman would win because he's shown better fighting skills than Thor. Most people say that Thor has had thousands of years of fighting experience, but he's never really shown that much as far as I know so him having thousands of years of fighting experience means nothing.

#45 Posted by Mina319 (215 posts) - 1 year, 4 months ago - Show Bio

Thor but not without a hard fight from superman, thor has a 1000 years of battle experience however superman was trained by wildcat in boxing, trained with batman and wonder woman, aswell as was trained with mongul before he fought imperiex. It is also shown that superman knows pressure points and is rather good at it as shown with his fight against ultraman, in which ultraman was more powerful but superman was more skilled but again like I said thor wins but its far from a stomp

Here are scans

Thor fighting creatures (Thor is stripped of his powers)

Thor fighting trained warriors

Thor fighting thugs Thor has been stripped of powers)

Thor fighting Zodiac's henchman (Thor was stripped of powers) (Has Cap sheild)

Defeated Sif in sword battle

Thor has trained people

Thor and Captain America fighting thugs

I like how none of those scans are actual h2h scans.

@jeanroygrant:

This is hand to hand only. Almost all of those are Thor using weapons, which wouldn't be allowed in h2h. Also, you should reduce the size of the images so that they don't take up half the screen.
