@Afterglow: can he fly to the suns core because he needs atleast 20 seconds of normal sundipping or a sun soak threw the suns core for a easy win otherwise this is unfair and superman should be aloud a solar suit along with the small sundip

@Afterglow: well a normal sundip he wins as he can hit them to a different continent with a single blow for each person and with these peoples durablitys on gladiator has a chance of surviving that

@superdemon: a sundipped superman makes a tremondous difference as in man of tommorow #13 after superman had a small sundip and was going a little crazy thanks to the power it took the combined efforts of Orion, Martian Manhunter, Big Barda, Steel, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman to physically restrain Superman and even than they admitted they couldnt hold him down for long. If that gives you an idea of the sort of physical strength he gains as them together could move planets and they could barely hold superman down for long- so thats 5 major DC powerhouses and steel and they could barely physicaly restrain him how do you think only 3 people will do, its not fanboyism to think hed crush them like twigs when sundipped

@superdemon: lol ok the twigs but was off but it took everyone on him at once to hold him down and the team doesnt have enough strength even hold him down if they somehow all got him together though in a fight hed easily individualy take them down

umm its not that, he easily knocked out the sentry and the sentry was a big boy at that time anyway whats important is that, 1 gram of antimatter energy generates a hiroshima bomb and he could release energy omni directionally, plus his sheilds did take king hyperion's blows he took 1 megaton bombs in his hand without even flinching, destroying the moon with 1 one blow is no joke either supe would feel it anyway what he lacks is unfortunately speed he can defeat superman with his energy generation

He didn't just have a light tan... he freaking dipped his whole manliness in the sun!!! I don't even think Sentry and Gladiator could hold Supes down that long coz Supes could break free given the conditions. It would take a lot more than three of Marvel's biggest powerhouses to beat the crap out of Superman.

I know many people bring up Gladiator losing to Reed Richards and Sam (cannonball) And it's simply do to the fact that he knows he should beat them easily. If you weigh 205 and punched a kid who weighed 90 pounds...and he laughed..you'd lose confidence too. Thats what happed with cannonball, Glads put his all into a single blow that Cnnonball..whos far weaker, managed to survive, then too that same energy and hit Glads with it..who's to say what Gladiator would have did during round 2..not to mention he really didn't come to fight in the first place. Sentry flew around the world destroying an attacking alien armada in a few seconds. Blue Marvel punched him into space with one blow..somethin people believe that Superman can do to him..why can't blue marvel hurt clark?

Superman is far stronger than any incarnation of Hulk, and the same goes for Sentry. They don't stand a chance against him.
