Hard to say if the Blue Sun Absorption would give Superman the power he needs to take down the Phoenix Force... this maybe a little too much for Superman even under these conditions...

How powerful would Superman be after a month of bathing in a Blue Sun?

Unbelievably powerful

Is this Phoenix with no host?

#6 Edited by Deranged Midget (17599 posts) - - Show Bio

There is no way to tell how powerful he would be after bathing for a month, especially in a blue sun. He would indeed be incredibly powerful but I doubt he would gain the power to take down the Phoenix force.

Ehh. Still don't think that's going to matter when taking on the Phoenix Force.

Superman, obviously.

Phoenix Force.

Leaning towards PF, because there's no way to gauge how powerful Supes would be after a month of Blue Sun absorption.

PF is more powerful than any color sun. She makes Supes her herald to find planets to consume

#13 Posted by daak1212 (7901 posts) - - Show Bio

PF as the stars are her (I think this mean she birthed them not acutally apart of her)

#14 Posted by LordOfAllHumans (4034 posts) - - Show Bio

The Phoenix force is called the mother of the stars, this is because her very presence fuels them, as shown when Galactus tried to remove the Phoenix from Rachel.  The first sign that this was not a good idea was that the stars were going out.  Also if need be she can also eat stars, any solar based enemy would be a snack for her.

Superman once lifted up a car and threw it. That pathetic bird has nothing on that.

The Phoenix, through White Phoenix held the entire universe in the palm of her hand, and discarded 150 years of it's future.

LOL AWESOME!! :)
@IZZR: I get it Superman gets super powerful, but phoenix force itself (not the host) is not even a physical entity, can it really be harmed by physical means? Superman doesnt really doesnt have any means to hurt Phoenix to be honest! but if this were to be a DC comics series i am pretty sure they'd find a way!

personaly i dont know how powerful superman is under a month of bathing in blue sun but i am going for pheonix
#19 Posted by blacharrt (1567 posts) - - Show Bio
@Killemall: I don't believe as just the PF it can be harmed. Manipulated maybe by certain energies, or cosmic items but not kill certainly  especially not by physical means.

WOW......A CAR!
#21 Posted by comicdude23 (11399 posts) - - Show Bio

I think the PF is too much for Superman, even under a Blue Sun. I don't see him putting PF down, the entire force is too much. I don't see him harming her.

#22 Posted by Killemall (18559 posts) - - Show Bio
@blacharrt: Yeah that's what i though.. it should be a clearly victory for PF then.

Lol not a single person has said superman :) i guess boobster did but we all know she was kidding!!
#25 Posted by IZZR (4289 posts) - - Show Bio

Under a blue Sun supes developes new powers and once under a blue sun he managed to give his dad Jonathan Kent superhuman powers which were sufficient to K.O. Doomsday with one blow lol so the fact everyone is underestimating him is a lil sad besides he hadn't even bathed in the sun in that issue he was just under one whereas this battle states he bathes in the sun for a month and fights next to one

#26 Posted by pooty (11062 posts) - - Show Bio
@IZZR: The PF consumes stars. Unless Supes can alter reality he can't hurt her. Does he have any feats or is this speculation?

This fight is a joke. You're no speedblitzing a being that transcends space and time.

#28 Posted by SleepingLionHeart (9 posts) - - Show Bio

its no more a battle than a fight between men and maggots...or dragons and wolves...or men riding dragons throwing wolves at maggots.     phoenix force all the way

#29 Posted by Thepowercosmic (940 posts) - - Show Bio
@Killemall: lol
#30 Posted by Thor's hammmer (7184 posts) - - Show Bio

the whole Phoenix force? this is not a fight. at all. spite.

if superman had been baithing in a super sun till the 8ooth century he still couldn't take the PF.

What exactly does a blue sun do again here to Superman?

Superman has lifted far better things then a mere car...how about planets in seconds lol

That guy was joking, just being under a blue sun would make superman invulnerable and his strength and speed sky rockets to incalculable levels, he has many new abilities such as one time he managed to give his father jonathan kent strength which was efficient to one shot Doomsday and so bathing in one for a month one can only imagine what he would turn into but by no means this is definately not spite but fanboys can say what they like i reckon this is close AF
#33 Posted by MKF30 (11635 posts) - - Show Bio

Geez.... I was aware of the red, yellow suns amping and draining his power but blue sun, interesting...thanks.

If I am correct, Spidey can lift two cars, at once.

Whatever the effects, they won't matter...she can eat suns, she can drain energy and lifeforce in any conceivable amount, she can simply transform him into a base line human, and the list goes on and on.

OMG It's a guy lifting up... a car! A guy lifting up a car!

"Nobody gives a -crap- about Superman"

if anyone knows where this is from, he/she gets a cookie

BTW In DC One Million Superman spends a few thousand years inside our yellow sun and gets incredible powers and it's basicly invicible. So..... Im still curious on the effect of one month of blue sun.

Wow, someone out there really hates Superman.

Phoenix Force for the win.
