Superman vs Men of Marvel

Same scenario as my wonder woman vs women of marvel thread lol.

Superman (Pre 52 and New 52 feats allowed)

vs

Marvel Men: Unworthy Thor w/ Jarborn, Dr Doom, Iron Man (Hulk Buster Armour), Captain Marvel (Mar-vell), Cable.

5 mins prep/prior knowledge of enemy capabilities and powers for both sides.

Superman is bloodlusted.Team are in character.

Win by any means necessary except BFR for the team.

Men of Marvel.

@sophisticated_ignorance: I'm going to say team again. Will be a harder fight on this one, but the 5 minutes prep with a powerful telepath is the equivelant of a lifetime of knowledge on the other character. Physically, the only real match is Thor, although Iron Man in the Hulk Buster armor can at least stun Superman for a second or so. I'm not that knowledgeable about Mar-vell though so I can't say much about him.....then you are going to have the people that are going to say 5 minutes prep for doom, he steals beyonders powers. Realistically though, he could do some damage to Superman through magic.

superman beats them to a pulp. 5 minutes won't help much.

Bloodlusted Supes ftw.

Doom googles Supermans weakness and murks.

Superman eye lasers everyone from Orbit.

Then throws the moon at the Earth FTW.

Doom with 5 min prep in this team?

One spell.

Bye bye Clark. Bloodlusted or not.

Thor solos.

Superman. In their previous encounter (except for one victorious moment, the result of prep a LOT longer than 5 minutes) Superman had Doom RUNNING from him in fear; he barely made it to his embassy, which gave him diplomatic immunity. 5 minutes won't give him enough time to escape the drubbing that the rest of his Marvel teammates will receive.

Doom solos. Team wins.

Doom and Tony shield the whole team with 5 mins of prep time, and then Doom just conjures one spell and it's goodnight Clark. That's not to say that Thor, Captain Marvel and Cable together couldn't hold him off. One good swing from Jarnbjorn would decapitate the Man of Steel.

Superman's cape solos.

Another scenario: Tony uses prep time to change his equipment to fire Red Sun Radiation while Doom uses his magic to conjure an infinite supply of Kryptonite. Cable teleports Young Thor on top of Superman where he Jarbjorn chops him in half. So many awesome scenarios for a team stomp. Doom and Tony with prep is a fun time to get creative.

Would it rustle your jimmies if I called you a thor fanboy?

You're talking nonsense. Superman is getting both pre 52 and 52 feats plus bloodlusted scenario.

Superman can easily kill all of them from range or simply blitz all of them before they can even blink. They are all too slow to even react to him. Thor with jarborn is pure garbage, Mar-Vell has always been second rate at best, Iron Man is a sitting block, Doom won't be able to affect a blitzing Superman with his magics and Cable is pretty inconsequential.

He has gone up against more powerful wizards and won without bloodlust and the new 52 feats.

They have 5 mins of prep, and they have a vastly superior Team, where Cap-Mar-Vell could solo, then you have Thor, Hukbuster Thor etc.

But you should pick another fight to show your admiration for this character.

Doom solos. Other than that, the team gets wrecked. But that's just my opinion.

what are they going to do in 5 minutes? it's not like they can get kryptonite. tony is useless. doom will get laser eyed. supes can beat them before they can form a thought.

in 5 minutes? they can't do that. superman can just go back and get his kryptonite proof suit. kryptonite or red sun radiation will be useless in your scenario.

Doom just got dominated by Sentry with a lot more prep time than 5 mins. Sorry folks, but 5 mins prep aint enough time to stop Supes in this fight. He is simply way too fast for just about everyone on this team.

@christianrapper: Iron Man would be the only one where it's slightly debatable. He's used radiation in his hand blasters and chest blaster. I wouldn't doubt he has some little datapad he can swipe to transfer it to red sun radiation. And Doom doesn't even need 5 minutes to open a portal to some kyptonite filled world. His magic is ridiculous and is even faster with prep than Tony. And of course that's also not accounting for the Jarnbjorn butchering courtesy of Thor & Cable, who is also capable of slowing/attacking Clark at a mental level.

You're forgetting Captain Marvel. The Nega-Bands allow him to manipulate energy (which IIRC has been used before to absorb solar energy). He could arguably drain Superman if the team discovers that weakness.

Edit: Reread the OP. They have prior knowledge of his capabilities and powers. The team has magic, telepathy, energy manipulation, and all of those other goodies on their side they can use to exploit his weaknesses.

superman gets 5 minutes, too. he could just go and get his kryptonite proof suit. kryptonite is useless when both sides get prep. superman can just go for the instant lobotomy.

This as well as Cable will screw him up with mind tricks.

@christianrapper: Do you really think Jarnbjorn wouldn't cut right through him? Also, Cable's eye is mechanical, good luck trying a lobotomy. And his kryptonite suit does nothing against red sun radiation. Either way Supes is getting drained and filleted.

i don't see how doom will help beat superman when he got owned by sue storm. doom gets beat down by the fantastic 4 constantly. he isn't beating clark. doom with prep couldn't even figure out that u shouldn't put a hot metal mask on your face. how is he going to defeat superman?
