I disagree As I remember Superman has redblood pumpin throught those veins of his, and Magnus has full control of anything electrical whether bio or artificial.

Too bad Superman can defeat him before he can even attempt to use his powers. He also has that weirdo aura thing that stops everything but magic.

as for superman's blood... maybe red, but dunno if it's iron in it, alien physiology, may have mercury or some other heavy metal instead of iron

I think the science behind Mags and electricity is that his powers can actually control all E-M fields when he takes them to the furthest extend. This would eventually mean he could bend light as well. He has rarely shown that level of aptitude, however.

if mag's as actually that powerfull that he could control ALL electromagnetic fields there isn't anyone, in any universe that could stand against him...

From the start of the fight, theres 90 different ways for Superman to kill Magneto. All of which take less then a second.

However, the E-M field is wavelengths of radiation, not polarization.

I think some writers take the "E" in Electro-Magnetic Spectrum too far without researching it. If Mags indeed has control of the EM spectrum, then he's been wasting his time all these years simply attempting to steal nuclear subs or take over Cape Canaveral to rain down death on mankind, when he could have been turning mankind into mutants by dosing them with radiation, like gamma rays, cosmic rays, And if that's the case Magneto is the worst villain ever.

You are forgetting Supermans chink in his armour. He wants to protect people while magneto doesn't even mind crackin a few eggs to make an omlette. In that proverbial second we keep talkin about Superman would have to choose to sock it to maggie or saving the empire state and its occupants etc.... you get my drift again all of this occuring as fast as human thought. No em fields or great feats of strenghths, just morality. Superman will choose saving lives rather than reaching his objectives.

Thats thinking of the fight in comic standereds. I'm saying you take Supes and you take Mags and put them in a clear sitting, one on one, no people to use as leverage, just Supes using all his power and Magneto doing the same. Supes wins.

Even adding people that are in danger in an attempt to distract Superman wouldn't stop him from winning. Super. Speed. He can beat Magneto and save whoever needs saving.

Besides all that, there would be a fist shaped dent in Magneto's helm long before he could think to endanger any innocent bystanders.

Big Magneto fan here sure a few of you know this, but unless Superman lets him the Comic Version could never Defeat Superman.

However if you took Magnetos powers to the extreme which they don't do in comic books he may have a chance

Supes does win, as much as that sucks. Mags is left pondering how he managed to get his head exploded like a mellon at a Gallager Show.

see a magneto fan admitted and it and yeah maybr magneto if at his fullest content could maybe stant a chance but if your going to do that with magneto then you need to do it with superman which mean superman full power magneto would die

I will go with Superman. His speed will be his biggest asset unless Magneto can counter it.

By the way, what is the physiology of Superman's flight? How does he propel himself in the air because, if he does fly with anti-gravity, this can Magneto's chance of distrupting Superman's fight.

Superman with out a doubt. magn....who! Please you can't even put then in the same room. Magneto will shake scared and in doing so, speed up his Alzheimer’s.

I suppose it needs to be asked, but... which version of both? There's been multiple renditions.

As an example... Silver Age Superman would have a much easier time mopping the floor with Magneto (and pretty much anyone else for that matter) over the current animated version of Superman. Of course, there's been movies, TV shows, many different comic book versions, etc.

As for Magneto, he's changed since his original incarnation as well and he's appeared in at least two cartoon series and three movies. All versions have been different.

So it might be important to know which Superman and Magneto we're dealing with here before we say who would kick the other's butt.

Superman wins this with his eyes closed

All Superman needs to do is fly at top speed, putting his body through Magneto, completely disintegrating him before Mags can even think about warping anyone's mind. Or he can just fry him with his x-ray vision, or fly around him causing a funnel effect to the point where it just collapses Mag's lungs. Or he could just punch him as hard as he could, snapping his neck off his sternum.   All of this minor detail, before Mags can even THINK.

Actually, i have no idea towards a winner. But, since everybody is pointing good reasons for both to kill the other, the best scenario (since neither rocks my world) would be a double death. LOL. Magneto would be punished by Mephisto for all eternity and Supes.. well, i haven't  come up with a good afterdeath scenario for him, but give me some time and i'll think of one... lol

Certainly there is no "curbstomping" here...
 
Hmm...Magneto is tough, but I give this to Superman.

Superman wins easily.

Anyway, Superman wins in a curbstomp.

If both are at full power level I think Mags takes it. That master of magnetism gimmick is hard to get around. I don't care if you can move at the speed of light, if you can't control the electromagnetic bonds of your own atoms then you can't win. Magneto rarely goes all out but if he does even superman can't take him. sorry fanboys :)
