Superman from Superman Returns against Zod, Faora, and Nam-Ek from Man of Steel.
No prep. The Kryptonians are attacking Metropolis, but the city is evacuated.
Morals off.
Who wins?

Team 2 wins.
nope Routh/Reeve or single Routh stomps
@dorukesin: Why?
@dorukesin: Why?
he was able to see an automatic helicopter machine gun s bullets in slow motion. He took those bullets in his chest like nothing. And he proved that his body's completely invulnerable(including eyes)
perception + speed + durability goes for Routh
and look above,he pushed the kryptonite continent into orbit
@dorukesin: So taking bullets are more powerful than there fists...
Superman had to resort to landing a plane, compared to Nam-Ek, who has the least screen time out of the 3; who was capable of easily throwing a large train carriage.
You need to get of your head, that speed always equals a win, besides Faora also portrayed that she could blitz etc, and all showed they were bullet proof.
The fact that there is 3, means that he is not coming out a winner.

Lifting an island laced with kryptonite and throwing it out to orbit>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>throwing part of a train.
Faora wasn't even blitzing at bullet level speed. Superman can easily react to bullet level speeds.
Sorry bro, but that's bad logic.
But keep in mind that I'm not saying Superman wins.
Routh's supes had no real combat feats besides pushing an island off into space. The 3 of them each rip a limb off him and smack him to death with his invulnerable limbs.
Yes, but I'm pretty sure he's capable of throwing haymakers and jabbing, which was 95% of the fighting composition in MoS.
@logy5000: Superman not just wins.Superman stomps there
Well, I can't really say who wins. Otherwise I'm breaking the rules of battle threads.
Superman doesn't stomp. He didn't really have any combat feats in Superman Returns.
Of course, throwing an island is a better feat than throwing a train, but that does not mean Nam-Ek is weaker, maybe he didn't use his full strength.
We don't know the perception Speed of Zod, Faora & Nam-Ek as the narrator wasn't from their perspective.
Faora did blitz the soldiers in Man of Steel.
I think the team could take him even just because they are 3 and he is 1. They are also trained soldiers, so they have a more tactic mind than Routh's Superman.
Superman also looses due to the fact that his movie was lame, while MoS was good. Lol

I'm not sure that's meant to be a display of perceptual speed...
I mean, there's nothing explicit about it other than Superman got there in time to stop the bullets with his chest.
superman returns was the same superman from supes 1-4 wasn't it? he stomps.
It's unclear/unlikely. Completely different characterization but lots of homages to the original series. It's unlisted as a sequel so we should assume it isn't a sequel.
SR Superman tanked a helicopter machine and wasn't even phased. The bullets bounced right off him. In contrast, MOS Superman was shot in the head by a similar gun and the force of the bullet pushed his head right back. So there is a notable difference in their durability .
Additionally, he was forced to dodge a round of bullets from an F-35 fighter jet. On top of that Faora was KO'd by the missile. Although, she is the much better fighter.
@logy5000 Superman lifting that island into space was PIS. H e should have been able to do that. Kryptonite is supposed to severely weaken him, yet he is moving an entire Island full of it.
I'd say that SR Superman takes this with high difficulty
Routh's supes had no real combat feats besides pushing an island off into space. The 3 of them each rip a limb off him and smack him to death with his invulnerable limbs.
I was thinking the same thing. The fact that he's strong does not make him a good fighter.
i think superman returns was supposed to be after superman 1 and 2 so he wins. he is vastly superior in experience in superman returns. in mos he was just learning his powers. you can't go by feats. it's obvious that clark was superman for a long period of time in superman returns.
Would be debatable if we actually saw Routh in an actual fight. While his physicality dwarfs anything the team has done, I don't think he can beat them. Like Black Arrow said, he has no striking feats, unless you count flying through an airplane wing a feat, Man of Steel flew through a mountain top...
I'm actually pressed to say Faora solos.

being 3 on one didn't even help them beat the mos version of supes. how are they going to beat a more experienced version? u are right...his movie was lame.

Faora and Nam-Ek were stomping Clark until interference arrived.

His reaction feats suggest he could stop her blitz though. And he's more than strong enough to restrain her.
Superman stomps easily,.
Clark
loses
@black_of_shadow Good for you

He doesn't really have reaction feats. He has travel feats like flying in front of a bullet which proves nothing aside from being able to fly faster than a bullet. But he has no close quarter feats or feats of skill that suggest he could work around Faora's lethality, imo.
@monsterstomp: SR Superman has the feats from Superman 1 & 2. He caught a bullet out of the air from a few feet away.
Team kicks his ass. He's outnumbered, plain and simple!
I'm tired of this logic. Numbers don't equate to winning.
@logy5000: That was impressive? Elektra a street leveler and caught a bullet with her hand
@logy5000: That was impressive? Elektra a street leveler and caught a bullet with her hand
That is completely irrelevant. If you can react before a bullet gets to you, you can react before a person who isn't moving at bullet speeds gets to you.
Lifting the Island feat weaken by good old green K did it for me, along with the combinations of Heat vision busting through the earth. Yes superman may have difficulty with the team but with his massive strength advantage yeah Supes .. Clearly speed wont be much of an issue just strength and durability.
@logy5000: That pretty much almost every character
@monsterstomp: SR Superman has the feats from Superman 1 & 2. He caught a bullet out of the air from a few feet away.
You realize how pathetic those old movies were? They were very inconsistent.
@monsterstomp: Inconsistent? You mean like the world engine-breaking, oil rig-dropping MoS Superman? The same guy who can fly out to orbit in a few seconds, yet took over a minute to fly across Smallville?
@logy5000: Yeah, inconsistent. Like Flying so fast that time reversed, yet can't operate close to those speeds when his life depended on it.
@monsterstomp: Inconsistent like the guy who flies through the gravity to warp earth, yet whiplashes from machine guns.
Every superhero movie has inconsistencies.
@logy5000: Inconsistent like the fact you're talking about two Superman's when the battle is between Superman and the 3 Kryptonians.
@monsterstomp: I'm assuming that you're aware of the fact that Superman Returns continues off of Superman 1 & 2.
