Dr. Doom, with his vaunted technology and army of robots, vs Superman.

Doom also has magic, Not saying he'd win just adding it to his arsenal.

will there be any prep time for doom?

As a villian, I love doom. As a Hero I do not like superman.

That aside lets get real. Supes is too fast and strong for Doom to deal with in short order (a.k.k non-prepared conflict).

If Doom is intentionally going after Supes with the element of surprise or Doom knows Supes would otherwise interfere with his plans Supes Dies.

then doom. if with prep he can steal the silver surfers powers then he should be able to do it with superman aswell, if not steal them then use mind control, or magic to possess him.

OK, If Doom has prep time and is even vaguely aware of Supes, it is over for Supes. Doom is too smart, he would use his mystical skills to revel Supes weaknesses to Magic/Kryptonite and would use that to finish Supes off for good.

Even without prep time Dooms armor has stood up to Thor and Odin just to mention a few....I think  it would protect him long enough to formulate a plan....but thats just me

Doom could come up with a defense for Superman. The fact that he could utilize magic in that defense make sit even more possible that he could win.

if Doom has the time to prepare i think he stands a chance against Supes

With prep, Doom could possibly win.

Doom can switch bodies too

Who is to say he couldnt just get his hands on some Kryptonite?...I think he would formulate a way to beat him.....he's taken on tougher

I honestly think Doom has a good chance of winning here.

Doom has taken shots from Galactus, Thanos with IG, and Iron Man just to name a few....

Even if Superman speedblitzed him he wouldnt be able to immediately penetrate Doom's shields and Doom could momentarily stun him with a spell, allowing him time to figure out a plan...

With preptime, I want to say Doom wins. I really really do, but there is just one cold fact that I cannot ignore. One little thing that ALWAYS forces it's way into my mind when there is a brain VS Superman debate.

Superman beats Lex Luthor.

I hate it, I really do, but just that one little fact makes me not so sure if Doom can snag the win 10/10.

Then again, dat ovoid mind switch...

doom may win, the comics say superman is highly intelligent, yet in battle he seems as dumb as a nut

Everyone doubting that Doom can take it with prep because of Luthor's failures....no.  
I'd almost say he could take it without. Assuming Superman has morals on, he wont blitz. Doom, using a combination of his doombots, forcefield, tech, and his just about Strange level magic could prove too much. 

Even without prep Doom has an incredible suit. It's taken hits from some really heavy hitters that are above Supes. Plus with magic and prep?

I think power stealing tech is part of his suit now anyway.

In an initial fight, Superman is too much for Doom. Doom is powerful enough and smart enough to escape, though. After that, Doom all the way.

If Doom has access to Kryptonite he wins.

If Doom has access to his time machine, he wins.

Otherwise he loses.

Superman fights and defeats Dr. Doom, which turns out to be a Doombot that relays information about his combat capabilities and powers to the real Dr. Doom. Doom uses this information to devise the perfect plan to defeat Supes (heavily magic based, though he could come up with a solar power draining/depriving trap as well). Of course this is moot if we're talking pre-Crisis Superman, because he's godmode.

Bbecause Dooms way past lex in smarts.

Superman bench pressed the world for five days without sunlight that's his maximum capability without sunlight so I think he can speedblitz his armor away the crush his head like the thing in ultimatum I always like to hear doom fans say he beat galactus and stuff because in ultimatum he got his head crushed by the thing who is mainly street level but even then with all the powers superman has I don't think doom can learn all of them like if he made a trap that is heat proof super man could freeze it or stuff like that also superman has some pretty powerful tecnology too in his fortress that he either took or made superman does have super intelligence in the end all those doom feats are pis he fights the fantastic four he has been beaten by Spider-Man and iron man so I think superman can deffinetly handle this chump

If it's a serious and pissed off Superman... maybe not bloodlusted but close too it.... He'd win. A nonchalant version or one that's not willing to cause some serious damage goes down.
