i thinks if they get in close combat superman takes but if its from a distance dark phoenix could win

Close combat? Superman is like a chimp in rage in close combat. The Dark phoenix would burn superman skin in close combat. Far combat is better it gives superman the chance to fly away. This is a crush.

Dark Phoenix, Superman has no chance here, as much as I like Superman he isn't winning this battle. Dark Phoenix's powerswill overwhelm Supes.

There is a DC-Marvel crossover that deals with Dark Phoenix against the DC heroes...take note, heroes from DC so it means Superman ain't gonna make it with Dark Phoenix if he is alone. Dark Phoenix is too powerful for him, no super speed or super strength can win this alone.

I bet ten to one that the topic creator thinks of Dark Phoenix from the third X-Men movie and NOT of the comics. The movie version was a shallow, and rather weak shadow of the comic book version.
