how is superman suppose to hurt spectrum?
Feats for Spectrum?
she's light speed (by default.. since she can turn into light itself), intangible, and can turn into any waveform and amplify any waveform too
energy manipulator (even magic energies), shape/size shifter

I thought she could use magic. Lol.

she have manipulated magical blast directed to her.. but i don't know how she can use magic (she's basically a pretty good energy manipulator)... i'm not that knowledgeable on her.
Blue Marvel could solo, and that's coming from an avid Superman fan.
Furthermore...
Team, but only due to Spectrum.
I don't see how controlling light can do anything to Superman.

Against Shuma-Gorath, she turned into light, entered his eye, then into electricity to pop his brain. (Granted, Shuma-Gorath isn't a physical entity, to it only stunned him. Superman doesn't have that benefit.)
She can turn into any form of energy, though odd ones require a few moments of study (EM band, electricity, extra dimensional) or into subatomic particles (neutrinos). She can split into multiple, semi-independent copies, and can hit hard enough to hurt Zeus or take out Thanos's flagship while remaining in an energy form.
It takes some skill and ability in energy manipulation to slow her down, and a lot of both for anything more permanent.

Firstly, how powerful is Shuma-Gorath? What scans & feats does he have?
Secondly, Electricity hasn't been very effective against Supes.
How many times has the electrical attack originated inside his body (bypassing his invulnerability field) directly into his brain? As for Shuma Gorath, standard demonic entity, Japanese Animated Porn star,cthulu-esque being.
And if the Kryptonian physiology doesn't utilize electrical impulses in the grey matter, she can unload with something like this...
@tyger: Could you post what happened after that? I'm having a hard time imagining Zeus was harmed by that.
Furthermore, you just helped my own argument with your first point.
If the Electricity can't bypass his forcefield, what makes you think her light form will?
@solar_powered: LMAO BMW ain't so lining. No Superman fan would say that.
Team. Blue Marvel would by himself give Supes a good fight, adding the girl who can move at light speeds and become intangible gives the team the edge.I don't see how Supes is even gonna touch Spectrum.

For the first, the whole fight takes up a sizable chunk. Until that point, only Thor was any credible threat and he batted away the other Avengers like they were nothing. Afterward, even She-Hulk's hits were having an effect. (Much like Superman after his fight with Thor, who would have shrugged off those characters before the fight in JLA/Avengers.) In this case, Monica had more effect than Thor did. As for why her light form can bypass his shield, because a) he's not inkblot black and b) he can still see visible light.
Also, Cyborg (Henshaw) used Superman's energy absorbing nature against him to strong effect (and leading to Superman turning into an energy being himself for a while.)
Team
Superman has no way to take Spectrum down.
Blue Marvel and Spectrum/Photon/Captain marvel win
Either could defeat Superman on their own. Teaming up brings Supes down twice as fast.
@highaccuser: @green_skaar: @sophisticated_ignorance: It's certainly POSSIBLE that the team could beat Superman. But it is EQUALLY possible he could beat them. Supes is a MASTER at using strategy to combine his powers to beat foes that are near, at, or a bit over his power level (as opponents such as Lobo, Darkseid and his Apokolyps minions, The Elite, Cyborg Superman, Captain Marvel and others know all to well). This is how Kal could stalemate or beat the team:
Superman has such speed feats as out racing an energy beam to its target in the mini series "War of the Gods" issue 4, going from Earth to Saturn in well under 4 minutes in the one shot "Lex 2000", and in "JLA: Heavens Ladder" it was revealed that Supes can race a---PHOTON (one of Monica's i.d.'s-ironic, no?) to its target. In other words, Kal has the speed to run rings around, BFR, and/or pummel Blue Marvel before he can react with the prowess that allowed him to become the first being EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE to defeat an Imperiex Probe (in Superman issue 153). He used a combination of super speed and super strength to destroy the construct, which was capable of annihilating the solar system; Superman withstood a beam from the construct capable of vaporizing the solar system as well. While he is doing this, even if Monica is pelting him with various energy rays it is doubtful that she hurts him. If by some miracle she figures out he is vulnerable to red sun radiation (unless he illogically screams out "Hey---Red Sun radiation reduces and eventually removes my powers!!!" I don't know how this would occur) he has shown several times that it takes a WHILE for this to stop him (an example being in Superman issue167 when, even with his powers waning under a red sun, Kal was still able to use enough heat vision to successfully power Jor-El's planet-moving ion engines; the aforementioned planet has a mass 16 times that of Earths). So it's not an INSTANT KO, and Supes could vibrate to the point of intangibility so Monica's attack would not harm him. Kal has used this ability to avoid harm from physical and energy attacks in Superman issue 175 when he vibrated and Doomsday's every attempt at striking Kal- punches, fire breath (that he used to harm Martian Manhunter in a previous encounter) and eyeball energy beams all passed through Superman harmlessly.
He could ACT like she hurt him, and race away from her; using his telescopic vision, he could track down a black hole, lure her in there and race out leaving her trapped.
Supes has resisted black holes on several occasions (including Action Comics Annual 7 when he resisted one that opened up directly below his feet, and in the double sized JLA;/JSA Virtue/Vice when he went through a black hole).
There's other scenarios I can and could use, but the point is, Supes has managed to take out MULTIPLE foes (see the Elite) on many occasions with a clever use of his powers, so I think the notion that the team would DEFINATELY win is incorrect.
Spectrum performs the Infinite Mass punch. opp no wait because Marvel follows the laws of Physics
Team
Blue Marvel can blast with anti-photons.
I guess that Spectrum can become anti-photons the same way.
@p00ty: What are Spectrum’s feats?
