Superman vs 5 X-Men

Basic hero issue of hero tricked to fight another hero, though not with Superman being on a killer frenzy.

Target X-Men: Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Iceman and Gambit (No Telepaths involved at all)

Now, while the X-Men are also on the defensive, they will not be using Lethal Force (Because if they did kill Superman, well it might be less of a relations bomb to kill the president, the pope and several orphanages). Before anyone get's on me for this restriction, I'm, sure that Wolverine could slash Superman in a way that would kill a normal mook, but he'd still be fine

By the way, does anyone know where the Wolverine image came from? It's sort of cool

Biggest factor in this fight is how will iceman and storm fight.

@heymanjack: Define what you mean by that? Last I checked Storm manipulates the weather to cause damage and Iceman creates ice for offensive and defensive purposes. They are not among the ranks of lethal force users

@krspacet: Don't get me wrong superman can win this fight but he may lose as well depending on how those two can fight. Iceman can freeze superman's blood. Storm can make lighting that can rival thor's.

Iceman freezing Superman's blood is not going to do anything to Clark. Setting aside the fact that he can control his own body temperature and make himself as hot as he wants, an amped Iceman tried that trick with Thor recently and nothing happened. Bobby's just not in that weight class, potential aside.

This should not be a challenge at all for Superman. It would barely be an inconvenience for him. Cyclops, Wolverine, and Gambit are completely useless against Superman. Adamantium might be able to cut him, but how would Wolverine ever get a chance to even touch Superman? Iceman is not going to hurt someone who can survive in deep space where temperatures drop to as close to absolute zero as it can get. Storm can send hurricanes at Superman, and it will just be bad weather for him. It's not going to hurt him. Superman could KO them all in less then 10 seconds without it really even being a speed blitz. That would almost be a casual pace for him to KO these characters. The only hard part for Superman would be making sure he holds back enough that he doesn't kill any of them.

There isn't a thing they could do. Maybe a few bolts from Storm to slow him down for a bit, but that certainly won't be happening more than twice max.

And this says nothing for the extreme lack of speed the team has when compared.

Clark could just fly up and pick them all off with heat vision and call it a day.

10 Gigawatts, that's more energy than multiple large scale nuclear plants can put out. He was injured prior to running that current through him and was back on his feet almost instantly. And that was Superman 5 years in the past; he was significantly weaker and less durable, Storm's lightning is a non factor and Superman stomps here.

Superman stomps. Marvel fanboys need to know when to stop with the nonsense. Storm has NO chance against the Man of Steel. Inserting Wolverine and Cyclops in there was just a waste of data.
