Superman TAS vs King Piccolo

Superman from the TAS and Justice League cartoons vs King Piccolo of the original Dragon Ball.

After Goku failed to stop him, Piccolo continues his quest to take over the world, and only the Man of Steel can stop him (no other heroes or Z Fighters involved; Piccolo can't use his children for help)

King piccolo would win IMO.

I always saw Superman of the Animated Series to be one of the weakest incarnations of the character, but King Piccolo was one of the first bad guys of the Dragonball series, and the way that the show is structured, that kind of makes him one of the weakest non-civilian characters in the Dragonball world, so... I'm not sure. Could go either way, I think.

Well Piccolo Daimaoh could blow up cities and moonbusting Roshi couldn't take him even before Piccolo Daimaoh had his youth restored.

It's not that Supes couldn't win. In terms of sheer physical strength, Supes outclasses KP. However, in terms of destructive force, KP grievously outshines Superman in this case.
 
Some would make an argument for Supes' speed over KP's from the episode where Supes and Flash were having a race around the world to see who was faster. Many fans claimed they were making the revolutions around the Earth in seconds. This was not true. It was taking them hours to do so and they were more than capable of being tracked electronically by armbands they were made to wear.
 
Certainly, there are things Supes and Flash could do with speed that guys like KP cannot. However, in terms of pure fighting ability and experience, Superman in TAS is a complete novice. He may have beaten Toyman's fighter game robot by studying it's tactics, but he's no martial artist and KP was killing the best of them both in the past before he was sealed and afterwords when he was restored.
 
Superman in TAS could also be knocked around by missiles. However if we include the JL/U series, in one episode he took the backlash of the Watchtower's cannon firing and it KO'd him. The beam possessed the force of a small tactical nuke and destroyed an underground complex as well as devastated several city blocks and caused other damage to the surrounding cityscape.
 
On the other hand, an attack from King Piccolo could completely level a city and leave (maybe) a few buildings on the very edges of the city still standing, whereas the rest is nothing more than a rocky crater. And he could do so before his Youth had been restored with the Dragon Balls. And did so as a demonstration of his power before the King/President of the World to force the planet to subjugate themselves to his rule.
