Superman at his best faces off against DC and Marvels heavy hitters. After each battle Superman gets 1 day rest and is fully healed. Let me know where you think he loses. Even, if Superman loses dont stop the Gauntlet.

Which Firestorm is it? Jason in Tales of the Sinestro Corps: Superboy Prime. Stated that he could create Kryptonite. On top of being able to phase I'd say that Jason has a pretty good shot at beating Superman.
It depends on what you consider "at his best" cuz superman not holding back and ticked off runs through most people here...in the latest dc universe online comic a blood lusted superman took out the whole JLA...so basic farm boy superman loses at nova.pissed off supes might clear it or lose to MM
WHY is World War Hulk above Martian Manhunter and Captain Atom? Without speedblitzing, Supes might lose against a serious Firestorm at his best. He could, I dunno, turn the air into free kryptonite.
There is no above or below in my post I say Superman doesnt stop at the gauntlet he fights every battle reguardless of losing. I wanted to know who he would lose against.
Firestorm and Cap Atom can stop him unless he speedblitzes them almost immediately.Manhunter,Adam,Alan Scott and the Thor team most certainly defeat him.Hulk,Gladiator and Sentry lose.Not sure about Nova

It doesn't say sentry with the void and the void doesn't just instantaneously appear when ever. Also I don't see a reason he can't beat Nova.
Round 1 - If Firestorm can really turn the air into Kryptonite he might win, but Superman could just blitz him. Round 2 - In my opinion he wins easily if Gladiator doesn't start at maximun confidence, and even if he does I think Supes still wins. Round 3 - He might lose in this round because Atom could just create Kryptonite, but once again he could try to blitz, I'm not sure on Captain Atom's reaction speed. Round 4 - I think he can probably beat Nova. Round 5 - He loses to Alan. Round 6 - If this is regular Sentry, without Void, Supes wins without much trouble. Round 7 - MM defeats him, he just has to many ways of beating Superman. Round 8 - Kills the Hulk with ease. Seriously this won't last long. Round 9 - Hard fight, entirely depends on whether Superman is bloodlusted or not. Round 10 - I think he loses but I could be wrong.

I think he just fooled the lot of ya into arguing this thread, no one listed can even put a dent in Supes at his best. We all know that, right? Right.
@venomoushatred Nova isnt close to fast as Surfer...Surfer already blitzed Nova hitting him multiple times in the same panel not even close to going at his full speed. Nova's reaction speed is not on Supes level he's perfectly. susecptible to his blitzs.
