Thanos mind-controls Allen the Alien into working for his team. Then Team 2 go on to defeat Thor and Supes.

Cool, Thanos traps Allen the Alien in a block of pure force like he did to WMPG Thor and Odin. Although to be honest he doesn't need to and can beat Allen the Alien if he felt so inclined or just blow up the planet. The Team then goes on to defeat Supes and Thor.

Team 1 win. Thor has given Thanos great fights and has won before when both amped with victories going both ways, Odinforce Thor on the other hand should beat him. I'm assuming Superman and Allen can take on Darkseid.

That was retconned to being a Thanosi, an imperfect clone, even then there is a good bit of context on how the said Thanosi was defeated. Its not much to do with Thor being powerful, its the fact that once you blow up the illumination stone, tears of designati would have caused Thanos to pass out and die anyways.

Even then in the same story it was made pretty clear who among the two is superior. Thor tried twice and found himself completely unable to harm Thanos. Thor also got defeated 3 times in a row by Mangog who was working as Thanos lackey and who was clearly scared of Thanos.
