Fight on a sandy African beach on the Pacific.

Namor has just been fully hydrated.

Who wins? Win by KO.

I'm doing this battle to see how powerful new 52 Superman is compared to Marvel characters.

Superman doesn't really have many feats yet. I don't see how this is a fair fight. Pre New 52 Superman wouldn't be a fair fight I grant you.

Guess your right. But He was still hurt by physical force. Like Caps Shield for instance.

@Guardiandevil83: Namor took hits from multiple Avengers and still easily snapped Rulk's arm while he was getting himself up off of the ground. Cap's shield was a minor distraction at best.

Clark did break a Lantern construct. Knocked Flash a few feet away with a finger flick. Retired Batmans entire utility belt, lifted over 20 are so parademons, then tossed them like they were nothing. Grappled with Darkseid, and even at his weakest, survived being hit by a speeding out of control bullet train.

@Guardiandevil83: Right but current Clark wouldn't be able to take the pounding that Namor did and still get up and keep fighting. Not that it matters since PF Namor isn't in this fight and I don't want to derail this thread, lol.

Wouldnt the most powerful Namor be ultimate Namor? He's pretty badass, I dont think new supes could take him.

Namor's best strength feat is probably lifting a tanker from the ocean floor.

And Superman already beats Thor Pre-52, no idea about Sentry.

I'll be the renegade and argue for Namor.

Here is a testament to his fighting skills(although this is clearly not enough of a feat to defeat 52 Superman)

Strength-feat

Lifts a tanker and throws it at Attuma....thats around 1000-2000 tons.

Namor is also able to Fly, and should be able to compete with New 52 Supes due to Strength-feats and his known Combat skills.

I think I've fixed it. I think the flash was too bright though, I may have impaired Batman's eyes when I took the photo.

@Killerjax: No. It makes people idolize characters like Superman because he can beat the crap out of everyone and a lot of the other characters dont get as much publicity. I didnt even know half of the characters i know now before i actually started getting into comics and this forum.

That's the only major strength feat he has though. In New 52 Superman's defense, Helspont did call him the most powerful metahuman on Earth but that's really not relevant considering he doesn't have the feats to back that up yet. In time though I'm sure New 52 Superman will have the feats to back that up and Superman haters will complain about how powerful he is once again.
