Superman and Hal Jordan vs Black Adam and Sinestro

Alright this fight takes place on Black Adams home turf. both teams are prepared to fight the other. Morals are off!

Can Black Adam control magic?

I know he gets his powers from Gods but if can actually use Magic then Supes is done for.

Current Sinestro can take away Hal's powers and easily kill.

Team 2 stomp if BA can use Magic, but have a difficult win if not.

No one in this fight is a joke. It's hard to say who wins on this one, I'm leaning towards team 2 though. Supes and BA are pretty equal and I think sinestro could take out hal.

Recently though (2008+) Sinestro looked more formidable, he defeated Mongul and then the Weaponeer (well chronologically speaking it happened the otherway around) rather easily while Kyle and the rest of green lantern (4 altogether) were getting curbstomped including a guardian.

I am on the other side of the debate, Black Adam looked stronger I am siding with team 2 here.

Morals off Superman and Hal are beasts. A normal in-character battle between these two teams would be very close (IMO), but taking off the morals gives team 1 a clear victory.

I was just remarking that morals off Supes is something else. From what I understand, Black Adam is usually always ruthless or without morals so it wouldn't be a surprise how he would fight in this scenario, I guess the same thing could be said for Sinestro, not too sure about the latter though.

I dont think Superman really holds back against BA, I could be wrong though.

@gonjasufi: morals off not only means you don't hold back but you go for the kill. SUperman is never trying to kill BA. Morals off means he will use tactics he normally doesn't like punching in the throat or full blast heat vision to BA eyes or trying to vibrate through BA causing him to explode etc

Exactly. While BA and Sinestro are always fighting close to full morals-off, Superman and GL never really do.

I gotta go with team 2, Black Adam can take Supes toe to toe and Sinestro should be able to handle Hal.

Sinestro was the most experienced with the ring....until Hal became a gl. Sinestro's obsession with achieving order led him to give up on morals and desire complete control over the universe(and elimination of the gl corps).

Hal can beat Sinestro, if both had a green ring, if Sinestro had a yellow ring. Sinestro would stomp because green is weak to yellow(it's like their kryptonite).
