1) Neither of those are true. Superman travels FTL, and his strong enough that he moved a planet.
2) Debateable. Didn't Superman spend a thousands years or some nonsense learning to fight? Something along those lines.
SSJ4 Goku got cut by glass, couldn't escape from ice, was smashed into a side of a building, doesn't even go through it, and goes "OOF" when he crashes into it. He's barely powerful enough to destroy a planet too. Everyone is way weaker in GT than in DBZ. To be honest, I think Superman from the animated series could beat him. He didn't get cut by glass and actually went through a building's wall when hit into one.

It is said in the series that 9000 is strong enough to destroy a planet. Even Roshi with a level of 139 could destroy the moon. Goku goes into the hundred millions
Going by all of the feats demonstrated, SSJ4 is ridiculously weak, namely because power levels in DBGT were apparently retconned, making everyone weaker than their DBZ counterparts. Since this is GT Goku, Goku gets his ass handed to him.

That's a lie, since numerical power levels ceased after Trunks powered up past his level of 5. Any power level stated after Trunks' hidden level is horse shit.

SSJ4 Goku is pathetic. He got cut by glass, almost killed by a clock, couldn't escape from ice, and almost got killed by a sewer fan. He loses badly. Superman from the animated series can beat him or anyone in GT for that matter.
Goku wins -no question about it. He would spank superman like the little boy scout he is. Even at SS1 he could beat him. That is power level when he needs to destroy a planet. Yes Goku bleeds- big deal. So what he can't breath in space- the story has to be somewhat interesting. Mighty boring cartoon when the super heroe can't be touched. Oh and Goku has been punched through mountain ranges many times. Supes wouldn't be fast enough to touch him. What about Goku's instant transport?
