Good question. The Human Torch definitely has greater control of flame and greater resistance to heat. However, Sunfire is probably stronger and certainly is the better fighter. I think that the Human Torch's ability to absorb heat would be the difference.
Sunfire knowing that he is going against an opponent with similar powers would probably try to get close to use his martial arts advantage. Johnny Storm is too experienced and skilled at flying to get caught however. He would use his powers to absorb the flames from Sunfire and leave him freezing and powerless, after further drawing heat from Sunfire's normal body temperature.
I'm pretty sure Sunfire has this one, easily. Johnny produces only flames but Sunfire's radioactive/nuclear abilities and martial arts give him a much sharper edge.

You are not breaking a rule but that does not make the bump less meaningless. You added nothing to the clearly one-sided discussion that ended nearly 2 years ago for obvious reasons. There is a reason this thread never went anywhere.
