Sun Wukong vs Wonder Woman and Storm
"what the hell in the hell is a Sun Wukong????????? "
A mythological Deity. Born of Heaven and Earth. He fought off 100,000 heavenly soldiers and soloed heaven by himself. It took Buddha (TOAA in Journey to the West series) to stop him and even he couldn't kill Sun.

You said he was a God who fought 100,000 heavenly soliders and soloed Heaven by himself
What are these to women gonna do to him if he can Solo ALL of Heaven
And you also said it Took the TOAA of that universe to stop him but couldn't kill him
I repeat What are these to Women as Powerful as they are Going to Do!!!!
if the TOAA of that Universe can't kill him

Thank you :D
"This is kinda a stomp. You are putting up a deity with all kinds of magical powers against a human durability mutant, and a Amazonian who is going to just be pesky enough for him to notice her. "
That's why i said i wasn't thinking when i made this... I should've made Sun vs JLA or something.
" he freezes time and feels up the ladies then teleports them away "When has Sun Wukong froze time in his battles...? I haven't read JTTW in a while.

Buddha didn't want to kill him, and it took little effort on his part to trap Sun Wukong. To be fair, quite a few of the heavenly soldiers were cannon fodder. Sun Wukong stalemated Heaven's best warrior in Erlang Shen.
SUN WUKONG STOMPS
Here are his stats that he has displayed in Journey To The West:
He learned the way of immortality and magical skills from a Taoist immortal called Pu Ti Zu Shi. He went into "Hell" and took his as well as all his monkey friends' names out from the Book of Life and Death, effectively releasing them from the endless cycle of death and rebirth. He also defeated 10,000 Celestial warriors of Heaven, and no weapon or element was ever able to harm him. They had to get Buddha to trap him under a mountain for 500 years by tricking him. THE Buddha was written as higher than anyone else in existence in JTTW, and even he couldn't exactly harm the Monkey King.
Weapon
Magic Golden-Clasped Rod
Origin: Sun Wu Kong takes it from the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea.
Weight: 13500 catties, about 8100 kg, which = 17,820lbs (This is the weight of the rod when it is normal sized).
Size: Unlimited. It can grow as tall as the sky or shrink to the size of a needle at will. Wu Kong likes to keep it in his ear when he's not using it. Occasionally, he uses it to sew his clothes.
Magical Powers
1) 72 Transformation
Allows him to transform himself into anything and anyone. Wu Kong uses it a lot, in all imaginable ways! (It's called the 72 Transformations but it isn't restricted to just 72, he can practically turn into anything)
Variation 1
He can change all of his hairs into any object, person or animal. After use, he can change them back to hairs.
Variation 2: Body Outside of Body Spell
He can amass an army in a few seconds by changing tufts of his hair into monkeys who are capable of fighting.
Variation 3
Enables him to transform one object into another object by chanting a spell and spitting blood on the object. In the case of changing an object into people, he completes the illusion by giving the fakes very simple abilities of speech and movement.
Variation 4
He can multiply his head and hands so that he has three heads and six arms. He also multiplies his magic rod so that he can use three rods at the same time. This is very useful in fighting off crowds of enemies.
Variation 5
He can transform a hair into a fake Sun Wu Kong, freeing his true self to go elsewhere.
Variation 6
He can change his single magic rod into thousands of them which can be used for attacking multiple enemies.
2) Somersault Cloud
Allows Sun Wu Kong to fly over a distance of 108000 li in one somersault.
One li roughly equals 0.5 km. So, 108,000 li = 67,108 mi. and 156.2 yds
3) Body Freezing Spell
One of Wu Kong's most important powers. With a single syllable and a point of his finger, he magically freezes anyone into immobility.
4) Water Avoidance Charm
Allows him to survive in deep waters. A major drawback is that he can't fight while using this charm.
5)Fire Avoidance Charm (Bi Huo Jue)
Allows him to go through fire unharmed. This charm doesn't have the Water Avoidance Charm's drawback.
6) Wind
He can induce very strong winds and windstorms.
7) Lock-Breaking Spell
With a point from his finger or magic rod, all locks will open automatically.
8) Summoning
He can summon the local gods of any place he goes, that is the Earth Gods, Mountain Gods, River Gods, and the like.
9) Protective Circle
He can build a protective, albeit invisible wall by drawing a circle on the ground with his magic rod. Anyone staying inside the circle will be safe from harm as long as they don't go out. The one time he used it, San Zang was stupid enough to listen to Ba Jie and ignore Wu Kong's instructions and ended up being captured by a demon.
Abilities
1) Fiery Golden Eyes
When he was burnt in Lao Zi's furnace for 49 days, he sat in a place where there was only smoke, but no fire. Thus he managed to survive the burning, but his eyes were smoked into Fiery Golden Eyes. This enables him to see as far as a thousand li in the day (310 mi. and 1206.6 yds) and five to six hundred li at night. Furthermore, he can see through any disguise, illusion, or transformation.
2) Fighting
He possesses supernatural strength, so much that he feels that only a 8100kg metal rod is suitable for him. This strength and his natural agility gives him an edge in fights. He is efficient in unarmed combat and using various kinds of weapons, though his favored weapon is his magic rod.
3) Immortality and Invincibility
Wu Kong is immortal. Not only that, his 72 Transformations gives him 72 extra lives. Because he stole and ate peaches and golden pills of immortality, his body can be invulnerable to all attacks. He likes to intimidate others with this ability. He'll just bare his neck and dare you to attack him. And if you do, it's just like attacking a mountain of rock - the weapon just bounces off. He can cut open his stomach, take out his intestines, and put them back again. If his head is cut off, he can reattach it or just grow it back again, without even the hint of a scar. He can bathe in a pot of boiling oil as if it was just a hot spring as well.
4) Knowledge and Intelligence
Sun Wu Kong studied very hard at Pu Ti Zu Shi's school. He knows a lot about anything related to magic - like the energy change in moon phases, types of demon influence, Yin and Yang, the five elements (wu xing), the eight symbols (ba gua), etc. etc. He is also a very clever guy - always thinking up different ways to trick and defeat other demons.
5) Horses
Sun Wu Kong was once the Bi Ma Wen. The glorified stable boy of Heaven. He excels at taking care of horses and most horses obey him instinctively.
6) Healing and Medicine
Sun Wu Kong is a skilled doctor as he studied traditional medicine with his first master. Regretfully, he only utilizes this ability on one occasion to diagnose and cure an emperor's sickness.
"Does Sun move at speed of light? or faster than speed of light? "
No. But that doesn't really matter here. It's impossible to harm Sun Wukong by physical force and he is immune to the elements, meaning even with Storm's variety of elemental powers she cannot harm him.
"The questions I have are whether Wonder Woman's blows will do anything to Wukong, I don't remember him even being touched by any of the Celestial soldier's weapons. But WW hits pretty fast, she is quicker than the demons or Celestial entities Wukong has faced, but then she can't kill him, regardless of whether the punches will hurt...SUN WUKONG STOMPS

-Sun Wukong was unable to escape the grasp of the Buddha, who could have done virtually anything with the monkey.1) 72 Transformation
Allows him to transform himself into anything and anyone. Wu Kong uses it a lot, in all imaginable ways! (It's called the 72 Transformations but it isn't restricted to just 72, he can practically turn into anything)
- What is he going to change into to take out Wonder Woman?Variation 2: Body Outside of Body Spell
- The monkeys are going to be hardly any trouble for Wonder Woman.
He can amass an army in a few seconds by changing tufts of his hair into monkeys who are capable of fighting.Variation 4
- This is probably useful against the team.
He can multiply his head and hands so that he has three heads and six arms. He also multiplies his magic rod so that he can use three rods at the same time. This is very useful in fighting off crowds of enemies.2) Somersault Cloud
Allows Sun Wu Kong to fly over a distance of 108000 li in one somersault.
One li roughly equals 0.5 km. So, 108,000 li = 67,108 mi. and 156.2 yds
- No, it does not equal to 67, 108 miles... 54, 000 km = 108, 000 li. So in terms of miles it'd be a lot shorter.
3) Body Freezing Spell
One of Wu Kong's most important powers. With a single syllable and a point of his finger, he magically freezes anyone into immobility.
- Just curious, who (any notable names) has he used this against...? Can he do this to potent entities?
8) Summoning
- Quite a few people can do this... most are just minor deities with little to no powers.
He can summon the local gods of any place he goes, that is the Earth Gods, Mountain Gods, River Gods, and the like.2) Fighting
- Don't think Wukong's strength surpasses Wonder Woman's.
He possesses supernatural strength, so much that he feels that only a 8100kg metal rod is suitable for him. This strength and his natural agility gives him an edge in fights. He is efficient in unarmed combat and using various kinds of weapons, though his favored weapon is his magic rod.3) Immortality and Invincibility

- Yeah this is definitely problematic for the duo, the dude had his head cut off purposely multiple times and regenerated instantaneously.4) Knowledge and Intelligence
- IMO this is his most dangerous thing, his wit and slyness.
"
Nothing shows that Buddha was able to harm him, just contain him. Either way, it took the most powerful entity in JTTW to trap Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong can turn into practically anything with his 72 transformation technique. His slyness would surely enable him to come up with something.
Every monkey that is formed from a hair on Sun Wukong has his same exact powers, they aren't just random monkeys, so yea, that ability is entirely problematic for Storm and WW.
You're right, I mixed up the conversion. The correct distance would be 54,000 km = 33,554.04 miles. Still an incredible distance for one somersault.
Sun Wukong was never shown to have trouble doing anything that required physical strength. The 8100kg rod weighs that much during its normal size. Sun Wukong has been able to wield it while it was as tall as the sky, or while he was turned into a giant, also proportionally increasing the size of the rod and wielding multiple rods at once. There's at least no proof to say that Wonder Woman is stronger since Sun Wukong has never shown a limit.
Anyway I don't see any chance of victory for Storm or WW. Storm is useless here because of Sun's immunity to the elements and WW can't harm him with physical attacks. So what have they got?
"@Susanoo said:"@theiconic said:Well then how the Hell are Storm and Wonder Woman Suppossed to beat him :L ""what the hell in the hell is a Sun Wukong????????? "A mythological Deity. LOL....After reading what Sun Wukong can do those were the exact words that came out of my mouth. This is a very bad match-up.
1. Nothing indicated Buddha wanted to harm him, the other gods were begging Buddha to stop Wukong, which was what Buddha did; with little effort too.
2. Maybe.
3. Hm I forgot about that, but the imitations are not durable? They'll be more distractions.
4. Yes... But his traveling speed isn't his reaction/combat speed, he hasn't fought opponents as fast as WW.
5. Fair enough, though I would still give it to WW based on feats.
Sun Wukong would win, considering neither of the team can actually kill him... Though I'm going to reread JTTW again to see if there were any instances where Wukong was physically hurt by any of his opponents.
Sun Wukung's speed:
According to the classical novel, Sun Wukung's duel with Budda. Sun Wukung's can travel to the end of the universe and back in a few moments. So we can easily conclude that he can reach speed exceeding light since it only took him a few moments to reach the end of the universe and back to Budda. Though Budda conjured his all powerful (TOAA - like powers) to bend the space of the universe into his hand for those few moments. (That's pretty cheap trick for a universal reality warper)
Sun Wukung's fighting speed:
The warrior gods in the classical novels are able to take their battle across lands and oceans. Sun Wukung is able to evade the Warrior God Elong Shen's third eye beam which should move at the speed of light. Also many myth/ god weopons in chinese mythology have been able to accomplish absurd things. Example: Hou Yi's arrows were able to destroy nine suns. Nvm the the destructive nature of the arrows. Guess how fast those arrows are moving? Now imagine an army of ten thousand god warriors shooting these arrows at Sun Wukung and not one of them hitting him. (Warrior gods have good aim).
Note: The powers mention above is Sun Wukung's powers pre-journey west. By the end of the story Sun Wukung is so ridiculous overpowered he's very similar to the silver age superman.
Chinese gods have compassion, the 'demons'
However Yama the god of death in both Hindu and Chinese mitogia, would be a kind of 'Lady Dead' in marvel.
To be important in both mythologies and Wukong avoided at the age of 250 years, also out of the oven of the 8 trigrams.
In mythological category or Vishnu or Buddha could replace it in 'the wheel of karma'
Chakravatarin (asura's wrath) refers to a chapter that the game is 'Nirvana'
Asura died since the start of the game, but as was to be god creator of this universe, had to kill chakkravatarin and start the universe.
Wonder Woman and Storm together wins.
Individually Wukong might be able to beat them, Storm especially?
Also, the OP is completely nonsense. Wukong is no pervert in the novel, his fellow disciple Zhu Bajie is. Christ!
Sun Wukong's REAL Feats (click spoiler)
Here is a simple compilation of Wukong's best feats, with references to source - an actual translated version of the 16th century Chinese novel:
Source: http://www.chine-informations.com/fichiers/jourwest.pdf
- Wukong's best FIGHTING feats were his wrecking havoc on Heaven. Page 72 to 74 saw him forcing back the 100,000 troops of Heaven with his multiple clones magic trick. Page 87 to 90 saw him freed from Lao Zi's cauldron and he started his rampage on heaven, where he was forced into a corner. Notice that the 100,000 troops of heaven were feat-less other than they were "fighting fiercely". None of these feats suggested him threatening the universe, galaxy, or even planet.
- Wukong's best DESTRUCTIVE feat was busting a mountain. Page 207 sees him doing that to free himself after Buddha's magic imprisonment seal was released.
- Wukong's best battle-relevant MAGIC TRICK was his size-changing. Page 848-849 shows Sun Wukong and the Bull Demon King grew to extreme sizes and clashes with each other, which draws the attention of the Taoist pantheon. Notice that there is still nothing stated of him beyond mountain/country-busting.
- Wukong's weapon of choice is the magic staff, which can also grow and shrink at will. It weighs less than 10 tons, as described in page 41. Page 41-42 also shows that Wukong grew into, depending on the translation, a 100,000 feet or 10,000 feet tall giant, with his magic staff also growing to touch heaven and hell, which is literally the earth and the sky. Notice that there's nothing stated of any feat spanning the planet/galaxy/universe. The concept of the modern universe is completely foreign to the author of Journey to the West.
- Wukong wasn't omnipotent at all: Amongst Wukong's many problems he faced which he alone can't solve, was the Red Boy. He was overwhelmed by the Red Boy's magical fires in Page 570-572. Returning for a second round nearly killed him, as seen in Page 575-577. This is consistent with the novel's portrayal of Sun Wukong having regular trouble against earth-bound demons who aren't even planet-level.
- Another event that obviously demonstrates that Wukong isn't planet level was that he was pinned down by the weight of 3 mountains. Read Page 464 to 466. If his hax was that good why did he ask for help from the mountain gods to free him?
- There are even more adventures that the monkey god went through, but all those feats are of his great fighting abilities and use of quick wits, not his magic hax.
In short, none of Wukong's feats put him anywhere close to planet level or beyond.
Also, Sun Wukong never held up the galaxy with his magic staff. He never busted a galaxy, he never busted a star, he never even busted a planet. There was never any mention of a universe that we understand in our context today. The novel has never said that. He doesn't have the feats for that. Enough said.
@daydream: Uh no they weren't, if you wanted to compare them. It was like him going up against a army of Martian Manhunters at his peak. 1 heavenly warrior was the equivalent of 1 Martian Manhunter. Sun Wukong freaking stomps.
Zhu Bajie was a low ranking average heavenly foot soldier. You he could have destroyed The Moon with one punch. If it wasn't for the Moon Goddess, it would have been over.
well...this thread is still around? haha.
despite the debatability of the feats themselves, SWK is way above their pay grade,
neither is taking him down, wether together or individually.
too be frank this isn't much of a fight, neither storm or wonder woman can legitimatize hurt him or slow him down, given his power set the lasso of truth is more then likely to not even effect him. he's shrugged off more powerful magic and weapons then either character has ever possessed and even if they could get a lethal blow he is six times immortal he'd laugh it off. infinite clones, a weapon that is indestructible and can fifth by itself and clone itself, regeneration of on the off chance they got lucky. it's not a fight just a waiting game.

He isn't 6 times immortal. He is like hundreds of times immortal. He ate a shit ton of peaches in the celestial garden. Each peach is 1x immortality. He then drank the elixirs of immortality there which were also presumably x1 immortality each if not more. He was then ascended into a Buddha EOS.
@tomtheawesome123: it was more the case i was counting the methods rather then the amount.
he achieved immortality through Taoism by following 'they way'
he further became immortal when he wiped his name from the books of death
he ate from each of the three peach trees each of which provided a different form of immortality
he consumed the wine of eternal youth from the drunken Buddha.
and yes he ate all the elixir pills of immortality.
and yeah at the end of the journey to the west he became a Buddha although that always felt more like Buddha claiming credit for everything wukong did on the journey to me. :P
sorry eight methods, my bad. the general point is he was so immortal at that point, methods generally proven to kill immortals weren't able to put him down. not to mention the ruyi jingu bang has overpowered weapons were considered unstoppable so it's completely logical to say even if wonder woman had her OP sword, it wouldn't be able to cut wukong or the staff. Hephaestus may make godly weapons in his forge but jingu bang is easily something above god tier. honestly if wukongs being portrayed accurately, never mind wonder woman, superman couldn't take him down, the guy would be more then a match for darksied or onslaught in a fight and probably still win.
@daydream: Yeah he never ever froze time. I think what they were talking about was body freezing magic, 定身法. But the thing is that 定身法 only works on weak gods and demons. If WW and Storm are on demon king level or powerful god level then 定身法 won’t be able to do anything to them.
I don’t know anything about Storm so I will just share my opinion on Sun Wukong vs Wonder Woman.
1. strength: Wonder Woman is super strong, she is able to lift up planes and once even stopped an aircraft carrier. However her strength, at least lifting strength, does not even come close to Sun, the monkey who wields an 8.1 tons staff like a toy and do all kinds of kung fu flips with it. One of Sun Wukong‘s best feats is lifting up three mountains (although when the third mountain landed on him, its weight overwhelmed him), but do keep in mind that the three landmasses are not normal, earthly mountains. Mount Sumeru, the first to land on Sun, is the central axis of the Hindo-Buddhist cosmos, atop of which the gods reside, with various layers of heavens rising from the summit to higher realms of being. Mount Emei, the second to land on him, is the abode of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, and Chinese legend states Buddhism spread from this mountain into China from India. It should be noted that Wukong is able to run “with the speed of a meteor” while toting both of these mountains on his shoulders. Mount Tai, the third and final mountain to land on him, is considered a Daoist deity in itself, as well as the heaviest thing imaginable in Chinese culture, It’s no wonder then that it ultimately overwhelms Monkey's supernatural strength. So lifting these mountains is a way more impressive feat than you think it is, in Sun’s world, in the Chinese and Buddhism mythology world, it’s even comparable to Hercules lifting up the heaven (By the way, the earth in which Monkey lives is actually not our world. The world in the novel is modeled after the Hindo-Buddhist cosmos, which has four continents afloat in four holy oceans, each of which surrounds the four respective faces of the aforementioned celestial mountain).
2. Speed: Sun Wukong can move super fast, he is able to move 108000 li (1 li equals to 0.5 kilometer) with just one single summersault. However, that’s just his travel speed, NOT combat speed! And JTTW really never mentioned how fast is Sun’s combat speed so we really don’t know. On the other hand Wonder Woman is able to casually dodge and block bullets (bullets generally travel 1,800 miles per hour) with EASE. So I will give speed to Wonder Woman because Sun’s combat speed is unknown and Wonder Woman has shown some crazy combat speed feats. HOWEVER, Sun does have a magic ability that can help him counter opponents’ faster combat speed, and it is body outside of body (身外身法). Every single hair on Sun’s body is able to turn into anything Sun wants it to turn into, even clone that is just as powerful as Sun himself and wields the same weapon Sun wields. I really don’t think how Wonder Woman’s superior combat speed can help her when Sun just creates an army of himself.
4. Durability: Wonder Woman is super durable, unbelievably durable. She was able to survive the event horizon of a black hole, tanked attacks able to destroy dozens of solar systems. BUT, Sun Wukong is just... well I wouldn’t call him durable, I would call him... unkillable. Sun is completely immortal, he erased his name from the book of death, which means he defeated DEATH ITSELF, and he cannot be killed no matter what. One time his stomach was cut open and all his organs were taken out of his body, yet he didn’t even sweat. Also not only he cannot be killed, he cannot die himself as well. He ate tons of heavenly pitches, magical medicines and ginseng fruits, and those foods all can give the one who ate them infinite lifespan. But infinite lifespan type of immortality has nothing to do with this fight so let’s just ignore it... Anyway, even though Wonder Woman is incredibly durable she can still be killed, maybe Sun can’t kill her from the outside he can kill her from the inside (he can shape shift into a bug or size shift into very very small size and fly inside Wonder Woman through her throat then torture her by kicking her lungs and stuff. He has done that a lot of times before in JTTW). On the other hand, no matter what Wonder Woman does, she can’t kill Sun, even if she cuts Sun in half with her sword, Sun can still regenerate immediately. So I think it’s super clear that Sun is... well... not even more durable, but completely unkillable.
5. Weapons: Wonder Woman possesses an arsenal of magical items, including the Lasso of Truth, a pair of indestructible bracelets, a tiara which serves as a projectile, and, in older stories, a range of devices based on Amazon technology. However, non of her weapons is really comparable with Sun’s staff. Sun’s staff can size shift into any size Sun wants it to be, big to touch the heaven or small as a needle. It is also able to make multiple copies of itself. And this part is kinda related to the durability part as well, because no matter what Wonder Woman does, she can’t kill Sun. Even if she tie up Sun with her Lasso of Truth, Sun is still able to shape shift into an insect and simply fly away. On the other hand, even though Wonder Woman is super durable, Sun can still technically kill her given enough time or... as I said before... fly inside her...
6. Conclusion: At the end of the day, I think Sun should come out on top here. He‘s stronger, more versatile, completely unkillable and has a better weapon. But this is just my personal opinion, if you disagree with me you just need to keep believing in what you think is true, no need to argue.
Wukong at his strongest?? He blinks. Wukong would blink even before he became Buddha though, and none could ever hope to put him down even if he was downgraded to their level because of his immortalities.
@susanoo: I don’t think spying on naked woman is a thing Sun would do lol. That‘s just ridiculously way out of his character lmao. Sun is a monk, and his firmness in the way of buddhism is indestructible. There were beautiful af ladies all along through out JTTW but Sun never ever even got interested to them lol. In the end of the day, Sun‘s heart not only is as cold as stone, but actually is made out of stone (don’t forget that he is a stone monkey), so he is not interested in any woman.
@susanoo: A better reason for Sun to fight Wonder Woman and Storm would be his bellicose personality.
