Superman Prime/Thanos is still the upper limit of DBZ characters. Even MMH and SS can beat him.

They can't match up to Odin who is the next step above them. (granted a big step)

Once you get into that tier, debating raw power and speed is a bit pointless because flexibility of powers (or hax if you prefer) is far more important.

DBZ characters have no real answers to things like time manipulation, telepathy, energy draining, intangibility, matter manipulation, soul manipulation etc.

<<< Whis have some time-manipulation abilities but I agree that Skyfathers are the upper-limit of DBZ characters.

Thanos isn't a skyfather. A skyfather is someone who is the head of a pantheon of gods. Zeus is the head of the greek Pantheon. Odin the norse.

This, but i dont think he can beat thanos or Darkseid easily at all. Especially new 52 Darkseid who is going to be amped to anti monitor levels soon.

Also i think Whis will be the limit of the dbz universe.

They definitely will surpass whis. The main characters in dbz always surpass the gods that train them. Beerus already mentioned there being 12 gods who are stronger than them. If they go with that story for the new anime/manga then they are going to greatly pass whis. It's rumored to be 100 episodes.

if darkseid becomes equal to anti monitor then dbz mostly likely wont reach that level.

At this point they are pretty good on raw power and speed. What I hope the new series gives us is more hax, because the only thing holding alot of DBZ warriors back would be a lack of flexibility when it comes to abilities.

@juzacloud:lol couldn't agree more. Whis time manipulation and matter manipulation are both good starts. Beerus also seems to possess the latter, but the thing is casually manipulating glass and an egg aren't feats high enough to use in battle against opponents that rival their level of power. In Xenoverse both Demigra and the Supreme Kai of Time both possess OP time manipulation with high end feats to boot so things are looking up in the hax department.
