Aquaman can't call on Atlantis for help, but if they get near the harbor, he can use whatever sea life is available

@soopahsoup: The New Gods are too powerful, more so Stephenwolf and Kalibak. Not to mention Desaad can do some things with prep like bring in loads of Paredemons. Also to make it more fair you should add more power to the team as Aquaman is the teams best bet (only due to his trident) and he would get stomped too.

@justthatkid:Without MM and Orion, the Team would wipe. Simply take DeSaad and Steppenwolf out the fight, and Kalibak simply uses his mother box to teleport the team into the source wall. Instant win!

But Kalibak can beat Wonder Woman, and Apokaliptian tech is much greater than that of the earth heroes.

Sorry for my lateness. Kalibak has single handedly given earth 2 problems. Big Barda was there, but even Val-Zod(Black Superman) admitted to not being able to stop him. Kalibak is stronger than everyone there, and his Beta Club could easily subdue MM. Orion can't beat Steppenwolf physically, but Orion will find a way to win. Earth 2 WW got killed by Steppenwolf lol.

New 52 Kalibak is a tank on earth 2. All other versions except Jack Kirby and Firestore versions are shitty

New Gods team is quite powerfull ı'll give them that.

But Hero Team is more efficent.. Even New God has water in their bodies. Thanks to Mera, Martian Manhunter and Orion (mainly) Hero teams take them down.

@highaccuser: J'onn can't solo Kalibak...and that's without the Beta Club. The Beta Club could fire nerve beams and immobilize each of those characters except Orion...

Has he actually shown that in the New 52? And what answer does Kalibak have for telepathy.

@highaccuser: He did use his Beta Club to shot somebody once in the New 52, but he was very weak in that comic with the Hell Bat Suit.

Telepathy is very key, but bruiser are renown for over powering people with that ability.

The comic with the Hell Bat is practically the only one he's appeared in right now.

That's not an excuse.

@highaccuser: Worlds End, Earth 2 actually showcases how strong New God's actually are, and Kalibak appeared to be second only to Darkseid as he tanked the entire earth.

N52 Wonder Woman without her bracelets could absolutely take down Kalibak. With bracelets, Diana was fighting more strongly against Grail than Kalibak did. Kalibak was humiliated, and WW without her bracelets would ABOSOLUTELY humiliate him.

Also, counting Earth2 Wonder Woman showings is silly. Different character that seems to have been WAY depowered in the way of durability. (E2 Superman too.)

Hellbat issue is very sketchy canon, the events in it don't match up with what happens in more established times lines with the writer admitting their own ignorance. So events there are essentially WIS.

He's a good deal more powerful than that issue depicted but the hero's still win. The teams way too stacked.
