• Powers are not additive (i.e. suit's strength is only that of strongest armor they've used... not the strength of all added together, etc)

I Want to throw my hat towards Tony since his armor can hack anything (superior Iron man) But I know Steel new 52 is bonkers but not enough to completely give a definite answer.

I will say Tony with the right to change my answer later :P

Iron Man easily. Although, if he didn't have all of his feats mashed into one via the OP, he might not have stood as good of a chance in his space armor.

Even though he's probably lacking in the physicals (comparatively) Tony has the better feats imo.

@willpayton: Well since you gave Iron Man all of his feats, his power output, strength, and durability feats would be in Thor's ballpark.

Aegis Armor Steel destroys Tony. Without it, this would be a close fight (if pre 52). Steels armor has more raw power based on its purpose of replicating Krypyonian level powers, but Tony takes it in versatility. His suits have far more features, and he could possibly hack the suit. If Steel lands a solid hit with the hammer it's over, but Tony will be incredibly difficult to hit with his faster armor. He could probably fly circles around Steel and bombard him with missiles and repulsars. Overall I'd take Steel 5.5/6 times.

Iron Man certainly, Hulkbuster and Godkiller armor come to mind

As well as that one made of Uru

Aegis armour makes it pretty close imo.

The ageis? The one that took a blast of omega beams without a scratch, broke through the space time barrier with its hammer, beat up superman, and stopped a blast from the quintessence? Then it stomps.

@willpayton: He'd have access to stuff like draining, sonics and his shielding would be too strong to breach imo

no it doesn't... Iron man has to many armors for steel to contend with,, he is just to versatile... if you put feat vs feat then iron man wins... I think steel is severely under utilized in the dc universe.

Bleeding edge armor, extremis armor can compete with the ageis.... Steel just doesn't have enough to be iron man....

@axle124: The Aegis isn't made by steel, it was made on apocalypse by darkseid and his buddies and they didn't make it; it was actually made from an Imperiex probe.

The Entropy Aegis armor

Has a bit of Imperiex, the power of entropy itself.

Withstood darkseids omega beams without a scratch, took supermans heat vision like nothing (because it could absorb any type of energy).

It was powerful enough to rip through space time.

Blocked an attack from highfather, Zeus, ganthet, shazam, and maybe phantom stranger.

Generated an entropy rift that completely destroy a doomsday clone.

And it beat up superman like nothing.

The Aegis armor is on another level entirely.

I know lol,,, and tony could use the mighty destroyer armor(or thorbuster armor) too... both are made of uru... the stuff mjolnir is made out of,,,, My point is that iron man has to many feats for steel to win... I think overall steel's power is greater than tony's when comparing their normal suits but iron man wins due to versatility basically having far more appearances....lol..

Having more appearances is cool, but superman has more appearances than Imperiex prime, and dr fate has more appearances than lucifer and LT combined. What I'm trying to say is, better feats > appearances.

yeah but they aren't the same character ie steel and iron man... the destroyer armor was enchanted by Odin himself and yes it would stomp superman... but it was only around for that one battle with the worthy...so its appearances are limited...... and its no longer with us either lol...

@axle124: Tony Stark has never worn the Destroyer armor, and even if he did, Odin < normal Galactus < Imperiex Prime. Imperiex is just too powerful for Odin to handle.

Imperiex Prime is similar to Galactus, he uses tech to pursue his dreams (not of eating, but of destroying the universe) and his tech is powerful enough to destroy galaxies. But enough about Imperiex, here's a few feats of the Entropy Aegis.

John Henry, a man of great will and intellect, was in that armor and what's more, he was holding back and stomping superman at the same time:

What is the strongest IM armour?

Tony- Hulkbuster+Thorbuster+Bleeding Edge+Extremis= win

Tony wins for a few reasons, first Extremis allows him to directly interface and hack Steels suit.

@jacthripper: Well, unless you tell us what Tony's best armors has accomplished, we wouldn't know just how easily he would win against an armor that took a blast of the omega beams without a scratch now would we?

Edit: I know what those armors can do, and the most powerful is the Thorbuster, which was able to contend (physically) with Odin force Thor for quite a while.

Because even though I have shown what the Entropy Aegis armor has done, there are still people who vote for Tony....

So, we can gather they can show us that one of those four armors can withstand omega beams.

Physically, either the Hulkbuster MK II or Thorbuster.

Phoenix-Buster probably has the greatest firepower due to it's disruptor cannon.

yes he did.. it was armor dipped in uru and enchanted by odin(2010 or 2011 I think).... John henry isn't smarter than tony so I don't know what him being of great will and intellect means??? Iron man's normal armor takes shots from thor and surfer and pretty much any superman level power beings....The more i think about steel or iron man beating supes shouldn't happen I mean even in their armor their brains wouldn't be able to process what supes is doing if he is going all out... I guess tho the suits being magical and having auto defenses would negate that argument... anyways just thinking out loud... I am going to read the posts you made and check the armor out more...

Tony might be able to hack the Entropy Ageis, but other than I don't see what he is going to do to it.

I never said Steels smarter than Tony, I merely stated he's smart, has strong will and was holding back while stomping Superman.....I don't quite understand how you misread one sentence, with scans underneath.

And um...taking hit from superman level characters are all good and well, but as I've already proven many times, the Aegis is far above superman.

Yes, it shouldn't happen, but the aegis was powered by unknown forces, and was on a level superman stated he couldn't comprehend. Omnidirectional attacks are quite useful too.

@baron_von_santa: I know about the Aegis, didnt removing John from it cripple him? The combined uses of Tony's armor is what gives him the win, he's able to reform it from nanotech go toe to toe with Hulk and Odin Force Thor, while the Aegis is impressive, it's not as versatile.

Why it can't be hacked:

the entropy armor which was made by Imperiex Prime himself, and amped by Darkseids apokolypian tech (new God tech made motherboxes and stuff). Also, Brainiac 13 can't hack it.

Why it stomps Tony:

Physically superior to superman, and tanks omega beams so fighting with it isn't going to do anything.

It absorbs all types of energy (reason it was able to tank omega beams and heat vision) so blasting it isn't going to do anything.

Why it would win:

It generates entropy rifts and rips apart space time.

if it was most powerful armor vs most powerful armor ever worn then I think steel would win.. Now if you go with armor that each has created then tony wins and if you take the combined efforts of tony's armors and put them in one then I think that would beat aegis armor too...

"Imperiex is just too powerful for Odin to handle". Um-no. Odin is a proven galaxy-buster. The Odinforce grants him virtually unlimted abilities. He's had Thanos on the ropes a couple of times, and reignited stars. Imperiex is nothing Odin couldn't handle.

You guys don't really know about the Aegis armor do you?

When you can physically break into " heaven" to rescue Supes from the Spectre and the old gods then there is very little Iron man could do.

The Aegis Armor is too powerful for Iron Man to even comprehend what's he's up against in this fight.
