Bad comparison. Electro has defeated SpiderMan at least three times, and usually the only reason SpiderMan ever defeats him is because of Electro's wavering intelligence or because SpiderMan develops special webbing or other equipment.
@Reactor: While the Venom symbiote has been able to endure fire and heat-based attacks and weaponry, sonics have always proven very effective against Venom. Extreme sound can cause the symbiote great pain and can even tear the symbiote away from Eddie/Mac.
@spidey 15: I agree. It is good for a laugh. If it were that easy, SpiderMan should have defeated him every time. All he would have to do is carry a book of matches with him when he goes on patrol. You have to love PIS/WIS.
