Static vs Songbird

Fight in NYC. Milestone, DC, and cartoon feats are all applicable here. Songbird is allowed her Screaming Mimi feats also.

Random encounter with 75 feet between the two. Who wins?

What are Songbird's feats? I am familiar with Static.

In all seriousness, though, it's difficult to find anything with her. I'll look harder later.

And before anyone points it out, I now know this has been done at least twice before.

Static. And one of those is Morgana La fey IIRC. Not songbird.

She doesn't appear to be a threat to him.

I'll go with Static. She seems pretty powerful but I think he has the edge.

His shields have stopped a collapsing building from harming him. Casual lightning blasts put holes bigger and wider than him in solid steel. And he could very likely just disrupt the electrical impulses in her body like he did in Hawkman.

I read that Songbird's vocal chords are cybernetic or something. Let's hope Static doesn't figure this out.

@static_shock: That's such a good move. Something that goes through conventional durability is a trick fit for my favorite superhero.

I meant to restrict Static from manipulating her metal harness, but it's too late for that now, I think.

Nah. Static made a giant shovel out of bleachers and dug a hole in the ground. Then, he and BL blasted Holocaust into the hole and covered it up with dirt.

There was a villain that Static fought in his first ongoing named Boombox, who had superhuman strength and had powerful shouts that were strong enough to thrown Icon for a loop. Static alleviated the issue by using his Static-Clinging his mouth shut.

@static_shock: @blackwind: A bit off topic, but do you guys think we'll ever see Static again? In comics or any other kind of media?

Last I checked, a live-action web-series was being developed for Static by Warner Bros. Reginald Hudlin and Denys Cowan are the producers of the project. That's all I know. I've heard nothing on comic books, though.

That's nice to hear; so long as there's no credence to the Jaden Smith as Virgil rumors, that is.
