Seems like it'd be a pretty awesome fight
Since I dont really care about either of these characters im gonna stop posting. unless it gets good.
" Hellion is a highly skilled telekinetic whose uses his abilities to fly at subsonic speeds, generate telekinetic force barriers, fire telekinetic force blasts, and lift things weighing multiple tons. He was able to simultaneously carry the Blackbird, while tunneling through over a mile and a half of tunnel...Now if does all of this..how can he NOT beat static.Static is a highly skilled metahuman, capable of generating electricity, electromagnetic shields, magnetic control over metals, and the ability to make other substances levitate through electromagnetism. He's been known to level concrete walls and shatter steel with lightning and lift tons of weight through magnetism. He's been able to travel as fast as lightning on his Saucer. Literally. It doesn't really matter what Hellion is capable of here. But, if you think he can beat Static, make a case.

As much as I like Static I am going to go with Hellion, unless he is being jobbed.

He's not skilled. He stated himself that he struggled to lift anything smaller than a freezer without loosing control and destroying the area around it; this was after his power levels had stabilized.
That said, Hellion's shear blunt force should be enough to defeat Static.

But My opinions still stands and I agree with John. Hellions takes this but not easily.

How?
" @Son Of Storm said:" How? "By striking him with lightning. "
Through a TK forcefield that withstood repeated blasts from Nimrod?
"Through a TK forcefield that withstood repeated blasts from Nimrod? "People learn new things everyday.
" @Static Shock said:Lightning moves incomparably faster than typical energy blasts. I'm going with Static on this one. He has superior control over his powers." @Son Of Storm said:Through a TK forcefield that withstood repeated blasts from Nimrod? "" How? "By striking him with lightning. "
This is the first battle I have seen since my return that looks interesting. I think it could go both ways really. Hellion gets beat down often enough to where anyone could assume when it comes to blocking attacks, Hellion does not really use his TK for defense as much as he should. In Utopia, he got knocked out in nearly every scene he was in.
At the same time, Static uses his shields almost all of the time against several different things (punches, lasers, energy blasts, explosives, collapsing buildings, bullets, the list goes on.)
" @Reactor said:That is true, but would Static's blasts be able to break through Hellion's shields? The same barrier that stood against Nimrod's compensated/adapted blasts, the same field that contained the force of the self-destructing Nimrod and, more recently, channelled Surge's electrical uber-discharge into the sky ( a feat he instantaneously performed having only just recovered from the Legacy Virus)?"Lightning moves incomparably faster than typical energy blasts. "True. "
I'm still betting on Julian.

He has, however, blown holes in concrete walls, blown a reinforced steel door off it's hinges, destroyed robots, and split a car in half with his lightning. Though, if Julian was able to hold off Nimrod's blasts, then I'm certain Static may not be able to get through them. What I want to know is whether or not Julian can get through Static's shields.
I am going to side with Static on this one. Hellion may be able to win if he cuts loose, but Hellion has a nasty habit of doing a lot of chest puffing before actually doing anything, which often leads to him picking himself up off the floor. I believe that Hellion could very well win if he is not in character though.
" @Child Of The Dark Phoenix said:he has canceled the telekinetic fields when he fought superboy" Hmmm Static...:)

" he has canceled the telekinetic fields when he fought superboy "You're right. I have a comic from World's Collide when the just met. They were using their fields at the same time, and they eventually repelled from each other. This was in World's Collide #1.
Also, in a Superman tie-in for World's Collide, when Static, Superboy, and Rocket were trapped in a gravestone, Rocket said that they were canceling out each other's power.
" @krisboyz781: And Hellion has completely blocked Surges powers. "look at what static just posted
I'm pretty sure he saw it. Static may have been able to cancel out Superboy's telekinesis, but Superboy was also canceling out Static's electromagnetic power. Since Hellion was able to block electromagnetic power from Surge, he could do the same with Static. Static, more or less, should be able to do the same against Hellion. Thus, no one has a significant advantage against each other. However, it could come down to other factors (intelligence, cunning, etc)."look at what static just posted "
" I still say Static but I just wanted to make sure everyone kept things in perspective concerning Hellion. "Same here. It's not an easy battle for either person.
" @erik said:I would agree." I still say Static but I just wanted to make sure everyone kept things in perspective concerning Hellion. "Same here. It's not an easy battle for either person. "
Also, as has been stated, Hellion has a tendency to act rashly / loose it in battle. Yes, he's capable but I believe the battle would come down to other factors, as you said, such as intelligence, cunning etc.
