Fight takes place in a power plant and they know nothing of their opponants .
Basic fight who wins , this is Cole McGrath at the end of hte game with his full set of powers at maximum .
If you played the game you will know .
Im with cole on this .

This may actually depend on which side Cole McGrath went on. If good then Static will have mo problem, but if it is evil then Static will be rained down on by merciless lightning bolts of hatred.

In the game depending on your actions you get different abilities, also evil person tend to be way more violent and merciless.

@Omega-Mekix: So, if he's evil, what abilities does his get in contrast to what he would get if he's good? Being more violent and ruthless is another thing, since Static has beaten violent and ruthless people before (like all superheroes do). So, a personality change wouldn't do much here.

Well i just finished the game on evil (Much more fun) you basically get a huge power boost towards the end . (Just keep doing evil stuff to get it)
He has lightning bolt powers but basically have instant kills with one shot .
Shock grenades in cluster of seven much more damage and bigger blast range.
Electrical shields that are wide enough to protect him from all gunfire except for rockets and simultaniously heal him whilst getting shot at .
His most destructive power is the thunder storm basically summoning a thunder storm and a huge amount of lighting comes from the sky striking everyone in his vicinity and destyoying huge amounts of property even the most heavily armed vehicles with one shot .
When grinding on the rails or any electrical wires he instantly heals and has unlimited power that doesnt run out .
Thunder drop is much more powerful and has larger radius , nearby cars explode .
Can shoot poweful cannon like blasts at least several times more powerful than shock grenades and destroy things in a wide radius .
Can fly/glide from high buildings .
And Shockwave blows up vehicles as soon as it comes in contact with them and throws them back a huge distance , capable of deflecting rocket launchers .
Highly increasd melee and able to produce a continuous blast of electricity too .
Takes 30% less damage .
And is capable of defeating a guy with the ability to teleport at nightcrawler levels , destroy an entire city block by causing what seems to be an earthquake , throw shock grenades 10 times more powerful than coles , has hugely powerful electricity blasts , and a shockwave that makes coles look pathetic .

Will not work that way. Static has the same ability.

Anyway, even with all that power, Cole cannot hurt Static with it, because he would just absorb it. However, Static has magnetic abilities on his side for a wide range of effects and uses. I still think he wins this.

I am not completly up on static, however good Cole has shown some control over magnetism.  I havent beatedn on infamous so I'm not sure there.

It seems that this battle may end as a tie. If both absorb each other energy and can use magnetism they it's a stalemate.

He can reverse magnitise (sp?) people I know for sure. I am unsure what he using to glide it might be part of it. His push has been powerful enough to throw cars and molten rocks a pretty good distance

Your logic was based on Snake beating superhuman opponents that are nothing compared to the people you put him against, thinking he can beat them too. Again, who Snake has beaten isn't relevant, and it doesn't mean that he can beat the X-Men at all. That kind of logic doesn't work. I took a class on Logic, so I know what I'm talking about. He's mastered more and knows more, making his advantage greater than Snake because he has more moves at his disposal. There's nothing Snake knows in combat that Batman hasn't seen before. See how that works? You had nothing to counter it, other than pulling nonsense out of thin air, like you thinking you know more about Batman than myself, which was also proven wrong.

Well After reading a Bit about statics power I see this being a draw, static could use his magnetic abilities, but cole could just push them away/reverse magnatise them.  They both have melle abillities, cole might be a little higher with the gigawatt blades, but those probably wont affect static.
