stargate definetly, and at the height of each race, they have an insane amount of fighters as well. remember at the time the show is going down, the asgards are depleted, the ancients arent around anymore, atleast corporeal anyways. I wasnt really intending for the ancients or ori to be ascended here, but if they were it wouldnt even be close.

the death star is overated, its best weapon require a stationary target, and you are underestimating stargate races severly.

Either way All the factions in Stargate would be lucky if they could muster a thousand ships to fight, compared to 25,000 to 100,000 ships wielded by only the empire, not to mention the trade federation, the Confederacy, the Old republic, the New republic, the Youzhan Wung (or whatever), the Fel Empire, the galactic alliance, the sith empires from 4000 years ago and so on...

That's milliosn of ships on the SW side.

ships in the stargate universe have been around a lot longer than star wars, remember atlantis left earth for the pegasus galaxy between 5 to 10 million years ago. Not to mention replicators have a seemingly infinite number and the wraith clone, so we really cant even be sure who outnumbers who.

Stargate's problem has always been lo ship count. Goa'uld at their peak had no more than 500 Ha'taks spread between the system lords, and they probably had the greatest army of them all.

Wraith had 60 hive ships, plus their escort, would amount to about 200.
Asgard were lucky to have any more than 50 ships, the same going for the ancients and the Ori.

The replicators had no more ships than which they could steal.

the wraith had over 60 hive ships when SGA starts, that's after the war with the ancients, it'd be safe to assume they had many more at one time. Milky way replicators had their own ships too, and pegasus replicators build ships. Plus explosive tumor biological weapons :)

No..Not really Like atphantom said they have over a million ships on there side. Including the Star Forge station which produces ships at a nonstop rate. All together star wars has millions and millions of soldiers at there disposal. Also there is the Force using Jedi and High Sith Lords

Stargate has nothing on Star Wars.

A note on the Death Star: Yes, the Death Stars big planet-buster gun can only be fired at stationary tragets, that is true. But the Death Star is also covered with Turbolaser batteries. That's why they had to ue fighters because any larger ship would've been gunned down instantly.

A turbolaser is much stronger than any Stargate weapon except for maybe the Asgard plasma beam weapon.

for one, drones would tear apart the death star, and the asgard beam weapon is on every earth vessel by the end of stargate. They also have smaller ships, just one ancient jumper would easily destroy the death star due to the fact of having cloaking technology coupled with the drones which would easily target it's huge weakness. They wouldnt even know it was coming, and the force has nothing on the powers of the advanced humans.

I really hesitate to do this but... technically, nothing outside the movies and cartoon series is canon for Star Wars. They occur in an alternate timeline according to Lucas.

most sith lords are able to create whole black holes with there hands
starkiller was able to pull down a star destroyer with just the force
the death star would destroy any planet that it comes across
star wars have the force and jedi
they have the better weapons
there ships are much more advanced

play the force unleashed to see starkiller do this
the death star is just known fact
play knights of the old republic to find out about sith lords
the jedi and force are common knowledge

were not talking video games, were talking movies here buddy. obviously you dont know much about stargate then, if you did you'd know that it's history goes back millions of years.

and yet there weapons are not as advanced, i mean did stargate make a weapon able to destroy planets?
also lucas has said that the games are all canon so they can be used.

no they cant, were using movies, stuff done on film. There have been many planets destroyed on stargate, besides weapons dont need to destroy planets to be advanced, they just need to be able to destroy what your fighting. Just an example, drones are more immpressive because they can avoid trargets, go through objects without blowing up to just create holes then go through again and again to make sure the target is destroyed before it blows up instead of just blowing up.

doesnt matter, i made this forum, and here games dont count. I cant find the video, but in project arcturas a malfunction with a weapon destroys a whole solar system, and the same problem almost destoyed an alternate universe. The asgard blew their planet up, and McKay imploaded Asuras do finish off the replicators.
