Starkiller may be a new character, but he is far from inexperience. Vader has been training him in secret since he was a little boy.

Starkiller is cool and all, but Magneto is too much for him.

Starkiller can manipulate metal with the force levitate, read minds, choke people with his mind, shoot electricity from his fingertips, and then there is the lightsaber, but Starkiller cant abuse his powers too much, or he is briefly unable to use them.... He has some similar powers to Mags, and some very unique ones as well, true differance is Mags seemingly infinite ability to tap into his power, if Starkiller doesnt take Mags down quick, he doesn't at all, and I doubt Galen would take Mags down quick...
