SSJ_GOD: High tier Tag team Amalgam tourney (filled)

This is a tourney where few things will blend together.. without wasting time, lets get on with the rules

Rules

1. this is a tag team tourney. so every participant will need a partner.
2. this is an amalgam tourney. so every participant will choose 2 characters and then combine them into one (do elaborate the physicality though)
   
3. 8 teams to enter, and 2 viners in each team, so 16 viners will be the limit
4. draft style selection. after the participants are finalized, i'll create a PM to draft characters and explain the rules for it
5. can select any 1 thing from 'perks/abilities' set, and you'll get 1 additional selection if your amalgam parents are from same category (i.e both from DC, or both from marvel etc.)
6. Morals are standard (of amalgam parents)
7. Standard equipment (of amalgam parents)
8. Heroes are now willing to kill but will not harm the innocent (Does not mean they'll kill right away and there morals can still hinder them a bit)
9. Characters cannot use time travel or reality manipulation (Also applies to weapons)
10. Characters cannot remove there opponents from the battle field
11. Characters can utilize teleportation but for only themselves and their gears
12. can use intangibility to dodge attacks or pass through any battle field objects (can't enter opponent's body or gears), but cannot attack while intangible, and needs 1 minute of cool down time after every use
13. Characters receive basic knowledge of each other (Skills & abilities of opponents but not there additional weapons)
14. Characters with previous canon encounters will have knowledge of each other and won't require the basic knowledge unless they failed to see a characters full display of abilities (of amalgam parents)
15. Characters with past relationships will affect the out come of the battle (of amalgam parents)
16. Characters cannot use any unavoidable instant kill abilities (Telekinesis Crush, Inside bombs, etc.)
17. Characters cannot soul or mind rape
18. Characters cannot summon minions
19. Characters cannot control members of an opposing team
20. win by KO, incapacitance or death of one team.
21. Do not low or high ball a character, as well as present something that is massively out of character
22. Win by any means except Bfr and other things that were stated against.
23. participants have to post within 3 days of the last post regarding the battle (not included random posts which might come in between). additional 2 days could be given if someone have any problems and asks me for time by a PM.. this is to keep the tourney fluid, so everyone please bear with the rule.
24. no personal insults please.. debate in a civilized manner. disrespecting this rule could result an instant elimination
25. i will referee the matches. good luck everyone.

Perks/Abilities

• 1 hour prep (1 hour to to setup traps, form a plan, get your team into position, etc.)
• Advance knowledge (Knowledge of an opponents skills, abilities, weaknesses, how they think, and how they act)
• Perfect teamwork (Teams are now working to the best of their abilities, friend or foe)
• Morals off (Characters are now willing to do anything to complete their mission. Can not be picked with bloodlust)
• Blood Lust (Characters will now go straight for the kill. Can not be combined with morals off)
• Telepathic Communication (The team can now telepathic communicate with each other)
• Teleportation
• Telekinesis (1 character, with a strength of 3 tons)
• Freeze Breath (1 character develops Superman level ice breath)
• intangibility (1 character)
• eye laser (1 character develops cyclops level eye laser)
• can carry one easily found standard weapon or gear (no unique weapons will be allowed) (1 character)

what is draft style selection

it is basically a turn wise selection to give everyone equal opportunities to pick characters

i'll open up a PM, tagging everybody .. and then list all 16 participants from 1 to 16 (by lottery).. then starting from 1 upto 16 will choose their first parent character for the amalgam, and in the same way, starting from 16 to 1 (yes, 16 will get to choose both characters at once) will choose their second parent character for the amalgam

this is the most fair selection method i've seen so far

ps: i don't want to delay in drafting at all (generally it takes too much time) once everyone is finalized, i'll give a draft start timing (i'll discuss the suitable timing in which most of us can attend).. those who can't attend the draft, can leave a desired character list (priority wise ranked) to me via PM, so i can save it for their turn in the drafting .. if someone fails to do this too.. then there's always time to take the characters later which haven't been taken in the draft.... good luck in the drafting guys.. i suggest everyone to keep open options for characters (if by any chance you couldn't pick up the character you wanted).

I'm gonna be away for about a week or so, starting monday or tuesday, but if the tourney starts after that, I'd love to participate.

I'll wait for a response on the tourney starting time, before I start looking for a tag-team partner.

i'm not sure.. i want to start right away, after everything is settled (though i think that could take a little time). but if you can reply after a week. then i can make a special case for you (well, anyone can have problems) .. and if it starts before monday, you can post first before leaving.

@frocharocha you wanna team up in this?We can rrepresent some pokemon and oyhercharacters if you want. I'm going with deoxys and rayquaza, deoxys is really versitile with hax abilities and is nearly impossible to kill with his regeneration. Or mewtwo and darkrai might be good to for hax and special abilities.

I don't join tourney's on here but when i do join I would like to see more variety then just the same main stream , over used , popular characters so I am out

This is an awesome idea. I would join but I don't think I've been here long enough to give a good debate and I'm not an expert on most characters here so I'll pass. But I will give what I think would be a terrifying combination, that is Doomsday and Nova.

reading some well versed debate in vine on your character can make you expert on them overnight :D
