Ok. While we are being "realistic", maybe you can give me a "realistic" reason that you would think it is ok to murder dozens of people just to get someone to fight you. Let me guess, you think that Vegeta was being merciful in sparring the people the pain of reaching old age. Hmmm.... realistic.
On another note, AOA Sabretooth just decided he didn't like the bad guy life anymore just like that as well. Vegeta only knocked Goku out because he wanted Buu all to himself. He was not sacrificing himself at that point. He was being selfish. It was not until he realized that he had it all wrong in life that he decided to make a change in himself.

spirit bomb is irrelevant in a one on one fight... Instant transmission isnt a trump card because people have blocked follow ups from that move
