lol. he's one of those characters whose powers are always going up and down. if spiderman can fight him then he shouldnt be powerful enough to fight juggernaut, if he's powerful enough to fight juggernaut then he should kill spiderman!"

NO! I reject your reality and substitute my own! Here's the issue with Venom, he's a sadistic bastard who would much rather cause Peter pain and suffering than kill him instantly. That's how his character works. He went toe to toe with Juggs and Hulk. That says alot about his power.

Hmm... He's fought Carnage and has had trouble with him... But carnage is in their class level, but the Venom that fought Juggs and Hulk was a later reincarnation... Punisher doesn't count because Sonics were involved... I mean it's possible it was just writers, but he's been shown to have that kind of power... In his fight with Juggs he was merged with creep and was just dominating... I'm not totally sure A-Station. With Venom (Eddie Brock) it depends on who's writing him...
