Ben has not exerted himself that much as does not know how to because he has never had to exert himself at that level. Peter knows how to go beyond what he is capable of to pull out a win.

You not thinking of a proper explanation and chalking it up to bad writing does not mean that I haven't proven anything. I have proven that Spider-Man 2099 can fight on par with Venom in hand-to-hand combat, and you basically said "Obviously what I say is right, and I say Spiderman 2099 cant do that, so that means its automatically bad writing". Please, just face facts. Miguel has the same speed, agility and strength level as Parker.

Did, i just called it bad writing? IIRC, i have called it bad writing by giving an explanation as well. I don't care if O'Hara was able to keep up with Venom. My only problem was that in that fight he was able to hurt him while stronger people, failed to do it. Also, if i'm going to assume that O'Hara is as strong as Pete( which is false ) then, i can still call it bad writing, since Pete failed to hurt venom in many occasions. But Miguel is not on the same level of strength, speed or agility as Parker. I have posted some agility feats for Pete. I hope you did not ignore them. It's pretty obvious that if you check them, you will see that they are far more impressive than what O'Hara did there. Also, do you want me to post some actual strength feats for Pete? =]

same here, I think that if he got in close he could surprise Peter with one of those toys that he has, giving him the time to give him a beating and win.
All of you say that Miguel doesn t have a spider sense but his suit is created by him and is much more advanced and instead of spider sense he has a device that make him faster almost like slowing the time which is much better and his suit has a shield that protects him.
