in the new venom comics the 3rd issue is going to have spiderman try and stop venom from running wild *read here*

First of all, war experience would not make a difference against someone who has fought the opponents Spider-Man has. Fact of the matter is, Spider-Man's actual experience against superpowered opposition is vast, one of the greatest in the entire MU. Flash has little to none, and being in a war against regular people means nothing in comparison. For all his combat experience, Flash could barely keep up with Jack O'Lantern in # 1.

Secondly, combat experience won't be a factor for another reason: it's apparent Flash will no longer be in control of his faculties, therefore he'll be acting like a wild beast, with the symbiote in control.
