Spiderman - Toby Maguire vs Andrew Garfield

@ancient_0f_days: yeah, rookie Garfield. TASM2 Spidey stepped up several levels in badassness. He was dodging lightning and bullets casually, while closing distance to the source. And he did it consistently.

@gxrevolution96: Arguably. The only time we saw him taking on thugs he did not even react to being hit with a baseball bat or being hit otherwise.

Toby has better feats, but he also did that dance, so that drags him down a metric ton!

Also Garfield's got the jokes and was a much better Spiderman, Garfield wins here despite Toby having better feats, the dance just depowers him too much!

@gigantonigro: He dodged arcs of electricity from directions he could anticipate.....he did not once dodge lightning (just in case you didn't know, lightning comes from the sky).

I think Tobey is stronger. The train feat is often talked about when discussing Tobey SM's strength, as it should be, but a feat that's seldom mentioned is Tobey Spider-Man catching the tram car full of kids after it was already falling and had a lot of momentum. Begin the video at 1:48.

Tobey has an eating disorder. One where he ate his own chin off and doesn't have one anymore. That's why when he cries it looks like Jim Bruer's smile in Half Baked. You know the look...

But to be fair, Garfield never recovered from his web shooter mishap in TASM1, which is why his eyes are stuck in a squinting position.

Garfield was a pretty good Spidey because I feel like he cracked more jokes and whatnot but I don't think he was as tough as Toby

I don't remember anything Andy did that was as impressive as holding up a tram car full of children at the end of Spidey 1, or stopping/holding up a massive concrete wall at the end of Spidey 2, or being able to view regular human punches as if in slow-mo, or taking a grenade explosion at point blank range to the face (and continuing to fight).

Not to mention that Tobey pretty much has unlimited webbing in battle, whereas Andy's web shooters will eventually run dry.
