We have seen spiderman able to hit mainstream human torch several times before, unless ultimate torch is suped up in some way i don't know about Spider man wins. Just as he has in everything else.

Spidey is Smarter, and has more common sense than Torchie.

Also take into account that he has asbesto's webbing in his arsenal.
