Spider-Man vs Gorilla Grodd

*Location-New York Zoo (populated with animals only, no humans)

*Both know little knowledge about each other

*Winning conditions-KO, immobolization, death or mind control (for Grodd of course)

*Grodd is capable of releasing the other animals out of their cages for help if he needs em for back up

I don't think Spidey wins due to intellect but i think he would win because of spider sense and reflexes.

What's stopping Grodd from just mind-controlling Spidey at the start? Does he need to have a stationary target or time to do it?

no grodd has mind controlled flash, who is about as unstationary as characters get. Grodd mind controls and wins. Also his intelligence is probably on par with peter parkers.

I don't think it's a particularly easy win if Grodd underestimates Spider-Man...but he's still more powerful overall than Spider-Man. Grodd for the win.

After seeing that panel with Grodd's mind abilities ; I think he would be victorious despite Spidey's spider sense and agility.

The only story I remember that happening in was in Loebe's World Finest series, and it was an Elseworld.

This is a mismatch. Grodd destroys Spider-Man at the beginning. Spidey with his Spider sense and reflex CAN't DODGE Grodd's mind controll.

because he controls the minds of people faster than spider-man and has tk blasts. What good is being stronger and faster if the opponent you are fighting doesn't have to touch you to make you stop dead in your tracks?

He was punched with an IMP half way around the world and the most it did was KO him. He lifted a Volkswagen single handedly, threw it and it didn't just go into a building, it went through it like a bullet.

@nickthedevil: which do you doubt that spiderman resisted sinister or that sinister is the stronger telepath.

Resisting Sinister as being a viable feat, considering he's been TP'ed before, and should really not have a reason to be able to resist it. As for who's stronger, I don't know Mr. Sinister's strength in TP. but it better be world-wide, since Grodd's is. If I remember right, Even Prof X's isn't world wide, hence, his cerebro.

@nickthedevil: xavier's is world wide without cerebro going by feats he has reached outside the solar system without cerebro.

he uses it because it makes things easier there was a time when he needed it but that was because magneto put up an electro magnetic field to limit him prfessor x is a manhunter level telepath.
