Well after reading book he would know how to end Edward easily. Add his abilties and scientific prowess he will find away to end Glittery  man once and for all. Thou reading th ebooks would probs annoy the shiz out of him and would make Spidey go crazy on him for awhile.

Edward really isn't that much different from a typical vampire, in my opinion. With that said, he's not bringing anything to the table that Spider-Man hasn't seen or dealt with before.

Between Edward and Morbius? They both have vampiric augmented abilities, physically, intelligence would go to Morbius, but otherwise? The characters are different, i'm just saying Spidey's already faced a vampire foe. "

Actually spider man wins, edward can read minds cool, but it wont give him the edge when spidey operates at reflex speed no thought and using his spider sense which edward cant read. soon spider man will probably break edwards face( no pun intended vampires are glass like) in one punch at full power.  but i dont know if he will know that edward can eventually piece himself together. probably after he sees the limps and broken parts moving the will find a way to burn them or crush them. spider man 10/10 if his serious and bloodlusted.

Edward has superspeed (so fast you can only see a blur of him) he can read minds, and has superstrength(could easly stop a car).
Since I am not a twilight expert(dear god if I was I kill myself) I give it to spidey but I am not sure.

God I hate to do this, but I heard all about this garbage from my niece, and I was practically forced to watch the first movie, and hear all about sparkly boy's powers.

I don't see HOW Spiderman wins this. Edward (blech) moves at impossible speeds, can fly, can hit like Colossus' bigger brother, his reaction speeds are Mary Sue stupid, his skin is like marble or concrete (or something like that), no the mind reading won't help him, but he moves so freaking fast Spider Man will have enough warning to MAYBE dodge the first two, maybe three hits before Edward punches a HOLE threw him.

Sorry, that's just the way this would go. EDIT: This guy would pull Mobeus' arms off

@heroup2112: Really? Movie version Edward is actually weaker than Spider-Man strength-wise. Actual combat speed Peter should actually be faster. Spider-Sense cancels out telepathy. The two things Edward has going for him are durability and his bite. Honestly though Peter is strong enough to rip Edward's head off, which if you have seen the movies is a valid way of defeating him.

Now book Edward is a different story.That would be closer IMO`.

Even if there was a character Cullen could beat, I will choose that character. He ruined vampires with his sparkle.
