Batman can win with a day of prep and previous knowledge.... all he needs is a drop of Peter's blood, now he has a way to completely avoid setting off spider-sense. Batman can lace Spider-Man's DNA to the Bat-suit and gadgets, spider-sense wont work since it'll be like he's attacking himself which his precog reflexes have no real defense against (like with the symbiote). Then Batman just has to stay out of sight during the fight and toss muti-directional Batarangs at Peter, since he has to rely on his own natural reflexes he won't be able to dodge them all (especially if they explode). I haven't seen Spider-Man fend off knock-out gas successfully so that's another way for Bruce to get the drop on him.

@cmajor931: Peter gets beaten by characters he shouldnt lose to but does, so does Batman. Power can fluctuate with a character, and the max and min of these fluctuations are called PIS. Also, Spiderman is a good guy, he pulls his punches because he would rather get beaten down than kill somebody. Look at Grim Hunt, at first Kaine and Spidey get defeated by the Kravinoffs, but in the end Spidey gets mad and releases his full power, nearly killing all the Kravinoffs.

Just calm down a bit on the threads. no point cursing and getting mad. People will tear you apart if you do that, mainly by posting fanart and memes/ comics..... lol. we are all entitled to our opinions buddy.

I was actually being sarcastic with what I said... sorry for confusing you.

Ok, listen, I actually think Spider-Man could... maybe, if he gets lucky, quite possibly beat The Dark Knight. Now that's just my opinion, and I know you've formed your own, but in a friendly way, I'm going to try and just show you why I think this way, in hopes that you can understand why pretty much everyone here is against you.

I'm gonna be as nice as possible, so I hope you don't blow up on me like you did with that post before.

STRENGTH-

In an actual, real Batman comicbook, it shows us his normal benching weight is 1,000 pounds.

See, if you look close at the weights you can see each weighs 500 pounds, thus making his maximum weight 1,000 pounds.

Spider-Man however, is confirmed to be capable of lifitng 10 tons. 1 ton is 2,000 pounds, double Batman's max, so based on this little snippet of evidence, we can see Spider-Man is actually 20 times stronger than Batman.

SPEED-

Batman has, on record, dodged bullets. He's well and capable of that.

Spider-Man however, not only dodges regular bullets, but he literally weaves through sub machine gun fire with ease.

If Batman can barely dive out of the way of a bullet, while Spider-Man can weave through machine gun fire, I think we can agree Spider-Man is faster.

AGILITY-

Batman is peak human in all regards, agility included. In other words, he is as agile as a human being could possibly be.

Spider-Man though, is stated as being exactly 15 times as agile as a normal human, and having reflexes 40 times faster. This is from Marvel itself. It literally states Spider-Man is 15 times more agile than Batman and has reflexes 40 times as good. I think that's pretty concrete evidence.

And that's ignoring the spider sense. Spider sense is a precognitive ability; it basically allows Spider-Man to see short glimpes into the future. Combine that with his reflexes, and I don't see how Batman could even land a blow.

INTELLIGENCE-

Peter Parker is a certifiable genius. He has an IQ of 250, and while Batman is indeed the prep god, Spidey has some good showings as well. He regularly tricks guys like Rhino and Electro, outsmarted Norman Osborn numerous times, and beat Morlun with prep time.

Batman still takes this one... but it is by no means one sided.

So there you have it, unless you can disprove any of the above, it's pretty obvious Spider-Man wins. I just went and explained that he is vastly superior to Batman in every way other than smarts, and I don't see how slightly superior intelligence will help Batman win this one.

I like Batman better. I'm not sure what the conditions are... it depends on my answer about certain things like location, gear, bloodlust, and preparation... Random encounter, I give it to Spider-Man.

Without reading the war of rage against the Bat priests i will say this.

Given default scenario (Morals on unpopulated city, no prep, no BFR, no PIS)

Given this default scenario where they fight in an unpopulated city common sense suggests Spider-man wins.

It's a simple fact that that Spiderman is physicly better in every way. He's stronger, faster, has greater agility, etc.

Now im going to say Batman is smarter, it's true he's smarter and with prep Batman would when. But there is no prep here, and no matter what happens Spiderman is simply tougher. There is nothing that gives Batman a chance of winning in a no-prep scenario.

No he's not. Like I explained before, he is as fast as a human being can possibly be. He's capable of diving out of the way of a bullet.

Spider-Man is well beyond peak human speed, he is superhuman. He can weave in between bullets fired from an machine gun. Automatic machine gun>single shot handgun/sniper rifle.
