Spider-man vs Aang
who wins?????????
If Aang is allowed the Avatar state, he should win if he can avoid getting blitzed and one shotted. Even then, its not going to be a cakewalk for him. Spidey has reflexes bordering on precognition, is inhumanly agile, superhumanly fast (has kept up with moving vehicles on foot before) and possesses 10 ton strength with enough striking force to kill a normal human with a single careless blow (Parker has to pull his punches, lest he accidentally kill some of the weaker adversaries he fights)
If Aang is his normal self (4 elements mastered), Parker takes it. Spidey is a 10 tonner with unbelievably fast reflexes and inhuman agility. He would likely dodge all of Aang's bending while closing the distance and one shot him, turning his skull into chunky salsa.
Also, if he has the Iron Spider suit, he massacres aang

its been proven that Avatar the last airbender is clearly not an anime
it was made entirely by Americans
except for the art
the art/drawings are Koreans
really tired of people calling it an anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Sydneytuah: Second that completely.
Also, Aang has the ability to simply open up the ground beneath Parker, watch him fall in, then crush him under a thousand tons of dirt and rock. That or he can hold him in place with air and suck the air out of his lungs, suffocating him. Or launch him into the water and freeze it around him and let him drown. Or simply incinerate the entire area and burn him to a crisp. Hell, a sufficient torrent of fire kept up long enough and Parker would have to breath in, causing the heat to collapse his lungs and voila, he's dead.
Aang simply has far too much power for Spiderman to compete, even with the Iron Spider suit.
He's not wearing the Iron Spider Suit. That's the new Spider-Armor from the Ends of the Earth Storyline@Sydneytuah: Second that completely.

@Shawnbaby: ohhhh, thats why it looked different. I thought it was a different artists depiction of the Stark suit.
@LukeTemple
But going by showings, Aang wouldn't be able to do that. Why didn't he just use that lung airbending to kill Ozai when he first flipped on the Avatar State in their fight during Sozin's Comet? He was obviously bloodlusted at that point, as he seemed to be trying his hardest to kill Ozai right then and there. Only when he had Ozai at his mercy did he regain control over the state and refuse to kill him.
I would assume it's beyond an Airbender's ability, Avatar or not, to do that to someone.
I understand the concept of the ability plenty, but said ability is full of inference and has no basis on what Aang has shown concerning his Airbending abilities.
It's kind of like bloodbending for the Waterbenders, but one runs into a big problem with that theoretical ability.
Only Master Waterbenders can do it, and only on a full moon, when they're amped. Other times, it's just beyond their ability to manipulate.
Is Aang a Master Airbender? Absolutely. So why can't he do the same thing with air? The answer is this...
Firebenders and Waterbenders can draw extra strength and power from the Sun and Moon, boosting their own raw bending power. As far is I can tell from the show, Airbenders have no such natural amplifying source for their bending.
So unless someone can convince me otherwise, Aang wouldn't be able to simply bend the air from Peter's lungs. It's simply beyond his ability to manipulate.
Now, he could possibly bend air away from the immediate area surrounding Parker, but that would require a lot of concentration on Aang's part, given that Spidey is going to be moving as soon as the fight starts.
And webbing could be a potentially deadly problem for Aang, as Parker's web fluid is very, very strong. If Parker can web up a few limbs, its game over for Aang, as it would severely restrict his bending abilities.
Spider Sense would warn Peter ahead of time if something were putting him in mortal danger, like being swallowed by a fissure or getting incinerated by a fire blast.
That, and the fact that bending of any nature requires movement on the Bender's part, should give Parker ample time to figure out what's happening, and dodge it.
Spiderman possesses reflexes and combat speed that far surpass anyone in the Avatarverse. Benders seem to have really good reflexes, but no more so than any highly trained martial artist.
Master Bender, or Avatar, they are still human. Humans with incredible powers, yes. But still human, with human processing speed, reflexes, and durability.
Heck, we've seen Aang get tagged by several characters that Parker would absolutely wreck. And in this fight, getting tagged means instant death for Aang, as he absolutely cannot take a punch from a class 10 metahuman.
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think Parker could win this fight
Hm. Spiderman's agility and spider sense should allow him to evade Aang's attacks. He has plenty of practice at that kind of stuff, after all. Then he punches Aang into next week.

true
The no anime vs comic rule is stupid anyway. We shouldn't be punished because of super-man and goku fan-boy's trolling eacthother.
So
@Static Shock;
come at me bro.
Wait, are they blood lusted, or not? Cause if they are, this battle is so very different, since they both only use violence when it's absolutely necessary.
No blood lusted: Peter wins, cause he can dodges pretty well, and then just punch Aang unconscious quickly.
Blood lusted: This one is a closer battle, but Aang wins, since he'd be in the Avatar state, and could just smash Spidey by using all elements at once
Adult Aang going all-out in Avatar State would win this, but it wouldn't be easy. One punch or kick from Spiderman would seriously injure him and knock him right out of Avatar State. And Spiderman could very, very easily close the distance.
Now, the Amalgam version of Spiderboy (Spiderman+Superboy) would murder any version of Aang.
