• Morals On (The Spider-Team will work together).
• The Team has the same knowledge as the Avengers did and are the same situation.

• the Team must repel the Chitauri to win

The Chitauri get trashed. Not sure if they could close the portal without Loki's spectre though.

For a while. But like the Avengers, they will tire out and eventually go down.

Also, the Spider-Man team doesn't have the necessary materials to take down the Leviathans.

True. But I still stand in my belief that they can only get so far before fatigue runs them down.

They have no way of shutting down the portal. Eventually they get overwhelmed and the city falls.

If the Sceptor is present, they win. They're smart enough to figure it out (seriously...Ock, Max, Connrs and Peter is quite the brain trust).

Don't see the Chitauri as a factor at all. Thor was able to wipe out a huge mess of them with some lightening (and then never did the attack again)...Electro could replicate that for a long, long time. As long as he has electricity to absorb he won't tire out. NY has a lot.

If they have a way to close the portal, then they should win.

Well, on the assumption that Ock and Peter can figure out what the device is for, I think Sandman, with his daughter under threat, could do about the same thing to movie Loki that Hulk did.

Team would massacre the army so graphically that the Chitauri will damn near close the portal themselves.

But I dont understand why you picked the weaker movie version of Spider-Man. Tobey is overall better.

They CAN close the portal. OP says they have same knowledge as avengers. Sandman or electro could fly the nuke through the portal.

I think chitaru would wins because they might tire after a couple of hours of fighting. Now if they had prep spidey and team could destroy the mothership. That is key to destroying the chitaru

The Spider team wins. Doc Ock can probably opperate the Tesseract portal thingy just like Selvig and have...I dunno, Goblin fly up and destroy the mother ship like Iron Man did...unlike Iron Man, he'll die afterwards though since I doubt he'll survive in space. Plus, I would actually put Electro's lightning feats above movie Thor's.

The team wins if they can close the portal and then wreck the Chitauri, or else the Chitauri come endlessly and the team dies.

Team with Sandman and Electro being Hulk and Thor respectively.

Edit. If they're in the same situation how are they gonna stop the nuke?

If there are leviathans the villain team loses. Without them the chitauri lose because they are fodder.

For the nuke, I'd think Electro would have to take it into space. Or disable it and just fly into space himself and take out the mother ship personally.
