I know Buckshot is the Majestic expert, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he would win, being that he is as or maybe more powerful than Superman.

I agree. I don't know much about him either but as much as I like Spidey 2099, I think he'd be outclassed.

Majestic is finally included in a fight, but it's one that he wins so easily that it isn't really satisfying. Imagine superman vs spiderman. It's basically the same fight.

Majestic is a Superman clone, the best one in my opinion. You don't have to agree with this, but I would place Majestic over current Superman. (That's right Fourpower, clones can surpass the originals, watch your back.) He's stronger, faster, much smarter, has thousands of years of battle experience, is more skilled, is willing to kill (you don't have to piss him off for him to kill you, that's how he normally works), he doesn't have any weaknesses (like kryptonite or magic), he has a little telepathy, he has telekinesis, laser vision that can alter matter and manipulate energy, and if all else fails, he can turn himself into a cosmic being (he's only done it twice so I wouldn't say it's normal for him, but he can do it easily). The only place that Superman outclasses him is in durability, but not by much (not only is the difference small, Majestic has enormous damage soak). Not counting cosmic level Majestic, I would say he would win 7-8/10.

I've only read a couple of Mr. Majestic's comics, but from what I know I think that's a fair assessment. Martian Manhuter and Captain Marvel (DC) are both considered Superman clones too and they're awesome characters in their own rights. I'll have to check out some back issues of Mr. Majestic at some point I think.

Strength isn't everything. And Superman can be stronger than Maj if he just jumps in the sun.

I agree with Buckshot on this. Mr Majestic is a better "Superman" mainly because he is willing to do whatever he sees as fit to solve any "problem" that comes his way.
