Spider Jerusalem vs. The Joker

Spider Jerusalem, having stolen a time machine in order to get some peace from his editor's nagging, has found himself in Gotham City. And after being thrown out of several grocery stores, has come across a man with a very annoying laugh and enough (primitive) firearms to make him smile. Naturally, Spider wants those weapons for himself. They're antiques!
 
Like it says, Spider Jerusalem vs. The Joker. Spider is armed with his bowel disruptor, and various journalistic equipment, including source gas, his shades, cigarettes, his lighter, microphones, and drugs. Lots of futuristic drugs. The Joker has an assortment of firearms, a crowbar, and Joker Venom. I don't know whether Spider would be immune/resistant to his venom or not, though.

I dont even know who is this spider but if he is from the future and have all this tech he might just beat the joker.

Why do ppl put joker in a fight?

That's plot protection at its finest :) besides there aint no better villain than the joker ;)
