Speculation Battle: Kya vs. Korra [possible spoilers]

Waterbender vs. New Avatar

Not much has been explained about Kya, aside from the fact that she is the first born between Katara & Avatar Aang and is the only waterbender of their children. As for Korra, we've seen her utilize water, earth & fire. So far she hasn't been able to enter the Avatar State but she does possess skill with the elements. Any who, as the title suggests...speculation battle. Assuming that Katara taught Kya everything she knew, even how to siphon moisture from the air and siphon water from plant life, would Korra be able to match her in battle?

Honestly I don't even know where you would begin. We have never seen nor heard anything about Kya's abilities.

What I was thinking. If nothing is known about her, you can't even really say anything. Her being a child of Aang is kind of irrelevant, even for Speculation.
