The Living Tribunal is over the infinity gauntlet but why does that make Spectre over the infinity gauntlet? They aren't on the same power level. The Living Tribunal has power over the entire multiverse and can wipe out multiple universes if he wants to.

I havent't seen Spectre do anything or be referred to as being able to do anything on that level. I havent even seen the Spectre exercise the power over his own universe that the infinity gauntlet afforded Thanos.

mainly because spectre is the presense power enforced, which, like LT, would make him above it! but spectre is part of the DCU, I gues we'll never really know, just what we believe from what we've seen and read!

First - Spectre is not above The Living Tribunal. hell he can be hurt by beings like Eclipso and Doctor Fate and he doesn't know how to kill the Phantom Stranger. Thanos on the other hand defeated the Whole cosmic abstracts and powerhouses(including Eternity, Infinity and Galactus).

Second - Thanos says ''Begone'' and POOF no more Spectre!!! NUFF SAID!!!

Thanos. I think LT is well above Spectre. Spectre is a bit of a joke really. It would take someone at Michael's level or above to beat Thanos with the IG, and Spectre just isn't at that level.

I looked at your scans also and didn't see anything that puts him anywhere close to Thanos w/IG level. maybe I missed something. What has he done that makes Spectre "not a joke"?

@pooty: Look again and read carefully. Especially the one that mention ''The Logoz''. And also look at the ones in which Mxyzptlk is weakling hobo. That was caused by an unbound Spectre (who is actually less powerful given the fact that Michael placed restrictions on him about being without a host in mortal plane) and look at the on which explicitly mentions that Spectre had the power to halt Crisis on Infinite Earths but was depowered by the Presence for failing to achieve it.

Going by what I have seen Spectre's power level is based mostly on statements and not feats. Thanos actually displayed his power in battle. based on feats THANOS wins.

the infinity gauntlet is based on cosmic power, even if this is unbound spectre, i can not see him winning. thanos 7/10. it depends on where they are fighting actually.

spectre is very much like superman prime one million: supposed great power, but no feats to back it up. thats why he loses this thread in my opinion.

@adhd_assassin: He depowered Mxyzptlk in DOV (who has power to dominate all reality,space and time), he easily beat Zero Hour Parallax by letting him hit and spend his energy (and ZHP was powerful enough to create most of the Pre Crisis multiverse), he killed all Lords of Order and among them was Kismet who can be arguably considered as DC's Eternity (There is no scan of him killing him but when he confronted Nabu, he did state that he killed all Lords of Order and Chaos, save for Amethyst amd Mordru), he give Michael (who is considered to be most powerful being in DCU after GEB) a good fight and even Michael noted him formidable and was tired in end before sending Spectre back to mortal plane. He was depowered by the supreme being of DCU for not halting Crisis on Infinite Earths, meaning that he was powerful enough. PIS and CIS aside, he is one of the most powerful beings in entire fiction. Check my scans of Spectre if you like and read carefully. Especially the ones that mention Logoz.

Spectre is not a joke. He has been capable of fighting both Anti Monitor and Parallax, both of which have manipulated/destroyed the multiverse. Tell me who has Thanos with IG fought that has done what AM and Parallax have done.

Spectre did not beat Parallax; Green Arrow did. It is debatable whether Spectre could have beaten Parallax 1 on 1, but he never beat Parallax on panel. The majority of evidence in Zero Hour 0 suggests that Parallax beat Spectre, including: Waverider stating draining Parallax's energy, Parallax knocking Spectre out of the page, Kyle talking about Spectre's sacrifice...etc. In fact, if you read the very end, all it said is that Parallax's energy was drained. Never did it state that Spectre was the one to do it. It doesn't matter how Spectre was at the end of the fight. He could have well recovered due to Parallax distracted by other heroes. Parallax one shotted both Time Trapper and Extant. Imo Spectre does not one shot people on that level on a regular basis. Nonetheless I do respect your opinion, and I know that this is somewhat off topic here, so I will refrain from discussing this further regardless of whether you change your opinion.
