Classic Spawn vs Daken

This is Classic Spawn as in feats from Spawn issues before his Second Form. His Earliest showings and limited understanding of his power.

Daken with M-Claws.

To play on both there Assassin skills this match will be base on both starting in stealth mode!

Inside a Dark Mall.

Maybe I don't understand Daken's powers very well, but I'm not sure how he's supposed to win. I'm not aware of anything he has that would let him kill Spawn, whereas Simmons could probably still vaporize him if he really needed to. Even in the early comics, Spawn had a ton of raw power, he just chose not to use it because of the countdown thing.

Muramasa claws might do the trick, since they nullify superhuman healing.

@Esquire: Do they kill immortal beings? Spawn doesn't heal automatically, but he also doesn't have to. You can hack his limbs off and blow holes through him (probably even cut his head off, though I don't remember it actually happening) and he can stay like that indefinitely without dying or really suffering any adverse effects beyond the mobility issues of losing a limb or head. He seems to be effectively immortal unless you bring in something like Angels or the Redeemer/Anti-Spawn.

This is just me going off memory of like the first 20 issues of Spawn (plus two Batman crossovers, one of which might have actually been canon). I don't know if anything about his powers were changed, retconned, or explored in more depth later on. But what I remember basically puts Spawn as a nigh-immortal supernatural being with superhuman strength, a living cape and chains, plus magic powers like teleportation, healing, and energy blasts that probably rival Cyclops or Havok at the least, plus all the spec-ops training he received while alive. He strikes me as simply being a much higher tier of character than Daken.

@Freefa11:

I can't think of the Muramasa ever being used against immortals. Although it was supposed to be able to kill Wolverine even when he had that life curse thing, I think, so maybe it can kill immortals.

Spawn. He's more versatile and i'm not sure the M-Blades would work on him.

The M-blade is the deciding factor.
