@chaos_prime: Aren't the Grey Knight's like plot devices?

Yes in most scenarios when going up against Chaos but in this case its up against a pre heresey non corrupted 1,000 Sons Captain with as many tricks up his sleeve as the Grey Knight.

Honestly I think I'd back the Grey Knight as much as I hate to admit it (not really a fan of the Chapter haha).

Their entire purpose is a bit of an anti-Chaos, anti-Psyker role of daemon and sorcerer slaying. The Pre-Heresy Chapters didn't really train (to my memory) to really resist the psychic forces and the warp because they weren't aware of them.

Based on the the Grey Knight might have more defenses against the Thousand Son than the Son against the Knight.

Thats probably the one dept where the 1,000 Son comes out on top here imo.

His telekentic shield was so powerful it took direct hits from a Xeno Titan without breaking.

The mental strain did take its toll in the end but still an amazing theat.

Thanks for the info.

I based my judgment off the general abilities of each Chapter, I don't actually know these two as individuals.

@eisenfauste True.Seems since i got back to the vine after being away from the site for near enough 2 months the 40k content seems to be near enough non existent. Are Strider92 & Jwwprod still on the vine?

@granitesoldier No problem :). Imo this is a close encounter that could go either way. Wot Phosis makes up for in defence Arvann makes up in Offence. Will be an epic encounter of wills with neither fighter giving up till the bitter end.
