Sonic the hedgehog vs Link from the Legend of Zelda

1st match Link(Morals apply, he gets his master sword, hookshot,bow, and arrow, and bombs) Sonic ( he has one chaos emerald)

2nd match Link( only has master sword) Sonic( has nothing)

3rd match ( both have everything in their arsenal all items)

I want reasons why one would win over the other

Reason: Link has master sword, hookshot, bow and arrow, and bomb, so he would EASILY kill Sonic so the other rounds dont happen. If they did Link would STILL win round 2 AND round 3 for same reason: better weapons

@GR2Blackout: Your not taking into thought though sonic speed, how would link get around that?

Sonic takes 2/3(at least). Link has a lot of nostalgia baggage and I find in vs. topics that nostalgia is worth a lot to voters. So does sonic but not even close to the level of link.

Link is superior in that category. He went on to continue to make successful games that sold to the people who played his games as kids. Sonic dwindled and failed and the older generation gave up on him. Zelda games can do no wrong for many people whereas sonic has nowhere near that same claim. He had his heyday though.

The Older generation really hasn't given up on him it's more we are dissapointed, and with generations things are getting better
