Then what led you too believe that pairing DD and SBP together against two foes who can only give Superman a decent fight normally would be a good idea?

Solomon took on Bizarro and Etrigan and has insane healing and can't be killed at all

Cool. You do realize that SBP was mopping the floor with various Lanterns, members of the JLA, and countless other DC characters, right? He would tear Bizarro's head off and throw it into space. Also, Grundy is already dead, so it's obvious that he can't be "killed". SBP can just turn him into undead ash with his heat-vision.

I do think that Maxima could beat Doomsday by teleporting him somewhere really nasty, or launching him into space with her TK so that he drifts forever. Being that they're on the Moon for this fight, a TK toss is certainly even more viable. A punching contest isn't necessary.

Okay at least Maxima has a reasonably good showing against Doomsday. So, maybe an argument could be made that she might be able to win.

But Grundy and Prime? What? Why!?

Team two, pretty easily, in fact it would be a curb stomp.

Yeah, pretty much. Unless there's a version of Grundy that I'm not familiar with, then he's the weak link for sure. I do think that Maxima would fare better against SBP than J'onn has. Especially if she manages to mind control Doomsday into fighting on her side.

 Doomdsay and Prime would beat team one into submission.  
The only chance I see for team one is if Maxima used her psychic powers. As it was shown that Martian Manhunter was able to read Prime's mind.  
Which means it's wide up for attacks. Which makes me wonder why the didn't try to stop Prime in this manner during the Infinity Crisis.

Eh. I'm not convinced that this is the case. Like you said, if Maxima uses her psychic powers, especially the ones she used in 'Panic In The Sky', then I'd need to see more feats from Superboy Prime defending against high end telepathy.

Doomsday on the other hand can be mind controlled. Manchester Black, Dr. Psycho, and Brainiac (post Milton Fine), have all done it before, and Maxima has defeated Brainiac quite easily in a telepathic duel when Warworld wasn't involved.
