Actually Valiant Solar is far above Dr Manhattan and Silver Surfer :3
He is a universal powerhouse though he does have limits.
However... It is safe to assume that the OP heard what VALIANT solar could do, which is why he placed him against a *ahem* "Fully Fed" Galan
Then again, it should be the responsibility of the OP to get the versions of a character straight; just because the picture looks cool, doesn't mean it's the version you're looking for. Confusing truth about comics...

Completely different tier with never having done anything beyond beyond even a solar system level and having had trouble with X-O Armor twice, and a bunch of fodder Spider Alien.
Yep looks like a completely different tier, heck most of his appearence apart from last few issue show him more or less Silver Surfer level than anything else.

That's incorrect. The Silver Age and current versions of Solar would lose but the Valiant and Acclaim versions would stomp. Since the one pictured doesn't appear to be the latter, I concede that Galan would win.

Silver Age?? I presume you mean Gold Key version, he is pretty much Silver Surfer rather than anything else.
The picture is from Dark Horse version who has little feat and a lot of hyperbole.
Galactus is an Abstract in the Marvel universe along with Eternity and Death. He represents Equity, and balances the scales of Life and Death!
Sorry a human who gained atomic powers is not anywhere near his level.
Galactus is immortal and feeds off entire civilizations and their planets, he has released blasts that have destroyed multiple solar systems, he has survived explosions fueled by multiple cosmic cubes. Survived direct assaults by the full might of the infinity gauntlet. And defeated multiple Celestials in combat.
Galactus wins in a universe shattering CURBSTOMP! to think anything else is utterly foolish and you should stop posting 4 LIFE!
@jcolletto: Well He can accidently absorb too big of a sun and accidently destroy Universes. That sound about right. O yes and he doesnt need all the equipment to absorb lets say a sun comparing to Galactus having to set up all his gear down and begin the sucking. So I don't know but my common sense is telling me Solar would create a black hole up Galactus's kiester and say bye bye.... and yes he has also created black holes as well. Check the CHaos Effect where he made one to absorb all the chaos energy which made the Lost Land. Galactus is no where near his level. galactus beats solar , very easily .. solar as had problems with guys that are high tier street levelers than the next issue had trouble with guys who are like herald level too inconsistant but solar has never beaten someone in galactus level
